Stayed from 6~7 April 2019. View of Himalaya range is really treat for eyes. You got very wide range of snow top peaks of Himalaya. Mornings are so serene that you feel peace up to deep inside your soul. Hospitality is great. Specialty is that you can get whatever meal you want.

Our recent stay at Pathik Resort on10.05.18 & 11.05.18 was great & a good value. I contacted Mr. Anand Goswami , the GM of the resort for a car & also a hotel or a home stay at Nainital for those 2 nights. At that time I was unaware of the fact that his company runs also a hotel at Mukteswar. Basically they are providing cars & necessary help to the tourists visiting in Kumaon hills. But he assured me that every thing is available at Mukteswar what I was looking for like the calm quiet serene location with superb view of the vast range of Himalayan peaks of 180 degree angle, a dense forest Sitla about 9km , a 350 years old Shiva temple, a lattice work on the rock, very old , Indian Veterinary Research Institute & the green picturesque. You will surely be charmed with the beauty. It is equidistant from Nainital & Almora. I followed his advice & decided to stay at Pathik Resort for 2 nights. We came from Mayavati & reached there late noon after our visit at Chauli ki Jali & Mukteswardham temple & of course having our lunch at KMVN guest house. The location of the resort is at the tip of U shaped road curve going to the Ramgarh s or Almora. Mr. Goswami was present at that time & he greeted us warmly & we were offered rooms 110 & 111 on 2nd floor with the balcony common at the south facing. But the rooms facing north are hill facing . One can view the peaks sitting at the balcony of the northern rooms. They provide an extra room just above that you are to enter by using a stair in the room. The dining hall was at the 1st floor. The resort provides free parking & a small park on the south. The hotel runs a restaurant in the name of Himalayan View Restaurant & the food is so so. The rooms are well cleaned with clean bed rolls; bathroom is good with exhaust fans, 24 hours hot water, free internet service available. The service of the staff is really nice, well mannered , courteous, helpful. The location is such that one can take videos standing at the garden , of the peaks like Kedarnath, Kedardome, Badrinath, Trisul, Nandadevi, Nandaghunti, Nandacoat, Panchachulli, Kamet, & the peaks in Nepal. If you are adventurous, you can have night stroll in your car in the forest subject to permission from the security at the forest gate. We were excited but no animals were in our view. We availed that & spent half an hour on the road passing through the forest. We enjoyed our stay there.

Fake owner Mr Anand Goswami, they confirm me the booking of two rooms or 23rd to 26th june for my family and when i ask him five times to take some advance he told me advance is not required just my words are enough for this booking and today i got a call from somebody that one big group is coming so your bookings are cancelled, when i called my anand he told me that he will make my arrangement in some other hotel as he has to give rooms to someone else and he promised to call back in an hour and since then i am calling him and he is not picking the phone. Is this the way to do business, how he can deny after giving confirmation. Don't stay in pathik resorts because when owners doesn't have business ethics then how can you expect services from them.
