Experienced the chirping of birds after long time. The mountain view was just fabolus. Fooodie people can find it more interesting as the resort is having thier own bakery with delicious food items like pastery and cakes cookies etc.

All in all superb experience.
Thanks swiss villa team for such a wonderful stay.

This was my second visit to this place with my office colleagues. We were 12 people in total. We stayed in tents. I would recommend this place to those who are nature lovers. Go there if you love mountains, forest, scenic beauty, birds, animals and peace. It is paradise for nature lovers. We made many friends who were visiting from Israel and Australia.

Imagine the sound of wind thumping your tent wall and we friends sitting in moon lit night and looking at the Himalaya from our tents.

I love their food and especially the club house where we played almost for hours. We also went on trekking and spotted several animals. The property is big and if you have a passion for life then you can explore many things.

Don't go there if you don't love open spaces and or want a lot of crowd or if you are looking for closed rooms etc.

Lots of beautiful places are nearby where you can visit.. Mukteswar temple, Bhimtal etc.
I salute to the man who imagined creating this kind of beautiful property in such a difficult terrain.

Visited with family for the 2nd October long weekend. The property is absolutely amazing & we had a great time there. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life and just relax. Unlike most hill stations which have started feeling commercialised, this general area actually delivers what you look for when you go up to the hills with its virgin beauty and peace !

The Swiss Village is the worst possible accommodation you can opt for in Mukteshwar. The website has completely deceiving pictures of the resort. What they show on the website is from a building under construction and there is only one of this type. And the management of this place has the audacity to provide a stay in a 'work-in-progress' construction site building with broken/freshly cemented stairs and the approach to this building (where accommodation is offered) has gravel at the entry. Can you believe this? On top of this, this resort is completely misplaced in its pricing. Rs. 15000 for a night on double occupancy is what they are charging for a room which is not been worth Rs. 4000/5000 per night. I was traveling with my family and when we refused to stay in a place like this, we were put in a cottage which had leaking floors, broken locks, damp walls and floor, dirty and stinking kitchen, wet floor mats and its countless. Overall, this was not maintained at all. The bathrooms had leaking pipes and towels that were of cheap quality where if you wipe a wet face, it left white feathers on your skin. The rooms are designed so badly that one side of the bed is blocked by the almirah. The entire setup is so off, it is difficult to explain. What they call a sit out, is a cemented dry balcony with not even a plant.
I can go on but it is even more painful to relive the experience I had. The point is this is no place to go even for free.

I stayed two nights with my family, We don’t like the property very much coz. They turn off the outside lights at 7.30 so it’s all dark outside ur room. So that you can’t think to go outside it’s so scary. Staff is no so good, not friendly.

No telephone working to talk to reception or house keeping. He provided the mobile number that is very unpractical. Sometimes network drops.
we called him next day, he replied, Sir I m on off today you note down on another number.

Rooms are not very good. Desi types of rooms and not at all worth it. Can get better hotel or resort in less price also.
The executive rooms are horrible. dirty, smelly pantry cabinets. windows and doors have loose latch, no proper Main door Locks.
Spotted Bed-sheets. Toilet fittings were too old style, dirty.

We won’t come here to stay with them again.
Bowling is paid not free.

We didn’t get a feel that I m in the Swiss village , as we saw lot of ads on roads. Nothing like that. Pantry Items were so old, looks like all Antiques, chk pic

Reilly sad to Say again about Toilets. so dirty.
When we said to them seriously, he SAID WE WILL SHIFT YOU IN BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE, WHEN WE STEPPED IN, WE FOUND A SCORPIO IN LOWER BEDROOM, BAAP RE.. IT WAS SO SCARY.
THATS HOW WE LOST THE TASTE TO ENJOY MY WEEKEND IN SWISS VILLAGE WITH SUCH A BAD MOOD.

RESTAURANT AND ROOMS ARE VERY FAR, NOT EASE FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED PEOPLE.

TV's were not working
we asked 5 times, he said sir we updated, he didnt.

Food was very Delicious,

Restaurant. Games and fun zone is beautiful no doubt..
Bowling is paid.and on higher side. 500/- per head, if two playing in same game, 1000/-

I have sent two smallish groups to this resort. On both occasions there were issues. The first time, there was water in the tents and accommodation had to be changed to cottages. This was informed to us by the voters. Not the resort. The second time round a family of 12 were refused lunch after checking in on the afternoon- early evening. Only after a row was lunch served. The GM, Harish, when we tried to solve the problem, was shockingly crude and extremely aggressive. We were told to not to send guests there and that he's a 400crore property GM, with no time for agents sending him business working on small time commission!!. It's sad that such an uncouth man can even be close to the service industry. The only respite was Pooja Rana who managed to inform me our guests were ok. Never ever again will any group be recommended this place from us. Disgusting attitude by an extremely arrogant GM who doesn't seem too know anything at all about what is happening in his resort or have any basic sense of propriety.

We were 3 families and we stayed in this hotel for 2 days. We had initially booked apartments and tents (one night each) but after looking at the condition of the apartments (too cramped with accessibility issues) and tents (because of the rain, water was seeping inside the tents), we decided to go ahead with the cottages. And I would say the staff was courteous enough to show us all the places and let us decide where we wanted to stay. The cottages looked okay(average) except for the washrooms which looked very old requiring maintenance. Now the problem started after we moved in. The sheets were dirty so we had to get them changed. The intercom in one of the rooms was not working and despite logging complaint, it did not work till the last day. There was leakage in the taps in the bathrooms and floor was getting flooded with water. Both the days, most of the times hot water wasn’t there and last day water stopped coming in the bathrooms. Most of us could not take bath that day. There were so many basic issues, that most of our time went into getting them fixed. Staff was pretty decent and helpful but with so many issues cropping up due to poor maintenance they were struggling to address. The property is huge and our rooms were around 3 km from reception. In a hilly area driving down to that place every time was a big pain.

The view from the rooms was awesome and one could enjoy and see the Himalayas sitting in the bed. Their club and reception area is well maintained but rooms/cottages need some real attention. When you are paying 10K per night kind of charges, you expect basic hygiene and things to be in place. We were very disappointed as most part of our vacation went out in getting things fixed and we stayed in a mess.

Because of esteemed guest like you “The Swiss Village Resort” reached on milestone in world of hospitality and become most prefer destination within the 1 ST YEAR OF ITS OPENING. Where you have been offered well furnished one BHK executive apartment with such a wonderful space of 550 sqr ft. with a drawing room, kitchenette and Bed room with King size bed, very well connected 20ft concert road as per booking. I believe the moment you expressed your unhappiness, we upgraded you to our acre best cottage with new immediate linen exchange on your wish.
