Resort is gud. But lacks in some facilities like Genset and wifi. Food and staff is excellent. View is great from resort. It is a bit isolated but very peaceful. Rates are on little higher side. Gud luck
First of all this is more of a homestay with a fabulous view than a hotel, definitely not a resort ☺️. I absolutely loved the place with serene and calm environment and amazing view of the range with Himalayas also visible in the distance. The host with Mr Mukesh Joshi with his lovely family took utmost care of us. His wife is a perfect happy woman and a great host. The two side rooms at each end are rather big with two double beds. Four rooms in the middle are also spacious with single beds and a separate beautiful hangout cum bed for children. The place is wooden cum concrete structure with ample corridors. The bathrooms r very well maintained. Food is prepared as per guest choice can vary from North indian dishes to their own kumaoni dishes. Tandoori rotis are not made anywhere in Mukteshwar because burning wood is banned here. If you are looking for typical luxury, this is not the place but meant for all gud people wanting a mid budget stay with all amenities and beautiful stay.…
If you have less budget, Mukteshwar Eco Resort is 1200 INR per night with beautiful rooms with one double bed and a single bed! Also, they serve good food but that is on an extra charge basis. They serve decent Indian food also.
We have been to Mukteshwar 22nd to 26th June 2017. After crossing Bhimtal we took unusual route (Via Padampuri) to Mukteshwar. And drive was a pleasure. Padampuri Temple and Dhari offered a beautiful view. As we approached Mukteshwar it was late afternoon and all hotels were packed big time. So we settled with ECO Resort Hotel at Sargakhet, well in the mid of all big hotels in Mukteshwar. Hotel rooms were average clean, but linen were better. Dont get an impression that adding resort in name will provide anything closer to a actual RESORT. Room 101 is spacious having 2 double beds while another room (No 105) offered 2 level of accommodation, one main double bed on ground and another higher wooden slab for 2 kids. Rooms amenities didn't matched with price, may be due to season rush they were pitched higher. We had breakfast twice and same much better. In case you are touring in a group it is better to avoid their meals because of waiting time. Eco Resort doesn't provide ANYTHING BEYOND rooms. Plain Vanilla beds and THE END. NOTE: If you go to Mukteswar than 2 days is a sufficient time. Travelling to BHALU GADH water fall is a must. It you love to walk in forests try to drive towards SHEETLA. Guards will stop you entering that area for walk, but ones you simply ask a way to go to Sheetla they have to allow as that is the only way. Ones inside forest you may get down of the vehicle and walk. Be sure of wild animals. Safety first.…
It is a nice hotel. Attraction for kids an extra bunk bed . Room rates are negotiable you can get a discount up to 500.You can get a room around 2000 rs on most of the hotels along the main road. Food is average . All the rooms are valley facing if you get up early you can see sun rising on the hills and a misty fog around. Rooms are well maintained. The owner Mr Joshi is very kind he even gave me some seeds and plants to take home. most of the hotels including this have orchard in the premises with fruits like apple, peach, appricot , plum . You can ask the owner if you would like to take your kids for a stroll.
