We had recently stayed there with friends, rooms were comfie, restaurant was good, with balcony room you get excellent view and you can have rooftop dinner and morning tea with rising sun view. Everything is good abt hotel, not a resort or very big hotel but you would enjoy ur stay in not so expensive fare. Only thing I miss was complimentary buffet breakfast.
Unethical, pathetic, non professional, I would never recommend for family. Owner takes decisions as per her convenience. Let me share my story. I stayed there with my family, owner (She) called us and told us that pls share Bornfire with 12 bachelor for drinks and party and pressurized on us to share with them when we said that if we said same thing to her that If we offer same thing to you then she said mind your language but she forgot that she also did the same thing to us. Actually we booked bornfire and she committed that it is private but later on she said, you need to share bornfire with 12 stranger bachelor because I had family and bachelors wanted to enjoy. Later on she threatened us check out .pls dont book this place and book safe place for your family. Owner name is Shaima shah. If anyone want to connect me before. booking. Please feel free to connect with me. Pls pls dont book this hotel i.f your are staying with family. They don't follow their own rules. For example, as per their rules it is written that bornfire charges is 500 per 2 hours but she said it is for one hour because she wanted us to share my family time with 12 strange bachelors when we denied the same she started to threatened us.…
Very pathetic experience. They have totally ruined our whole experience. We went with our family and the experience provided by them is highly unprofessional. We have asked while checkin itself that if bonfire is private or not and she assured us that it is private. After requesting for bonfire they provide us with a slot and then forced us to share it with a group of bachelors which is highly unprofessional from a property owner to even make a proposal like this to a family. Overall our experience was ruined because of all this and we are highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service.
I stayed in hotel with my wife and 11 year old son from 29 Dec to 31 Dec, 2019. Sharing my feedback basis my experience during the stay. Pros: 1. Hotel is located right on the Sargakhet road; 2. Hotel build quality is very good; 3. Rooms are spacious and clean; 4. Neat and clean bathroom with hot water availability, dental kit was provided; 4. View from rooms (Executive rooms with balcony) is very good; 5. Delicious food with very good quantity, one of the best food I ever had in any hotel; 6. Very prompt room service; 7. Option of outdoor Terrace restaurant; Cons: 1. Front desk is almost dead. I do not even know name of a single person who was handling front desk despite staying for two nights. I booked deluxe room which was not having balcony. I asked for other room to which I was denied by saying that they do not have availability. Later, I was connected with a lady who flatly said 'sir, you booked Deluxe room then how can I give you Executive room'. Well, I was not asking for free upgrade, at least provide an option with price difference politely so that guest can think about upgrade. Front desk is first impression for any hotel but here it left very bad impression; 2. Nobody tried to make connection with us - neither front desk nor room service members. They were coming to do their task and that's it. 3. It is typical hotel with very limited space. Somehow, that feeling of staying in hotel did not come during the stay. 4. No electric kettle in room for hot water; 5. No tea/coffee maker in the room; 6. We were two adults and a kid but only one dental kit was provided (were we suppose to share that single toothbrush); 6. Bonfire is chargeable (Rs 500 per hour). Also, there is only one bonfire place and if you are late (i.e. someone else already booked that) then you will have to miss for that day. 7. Nobody bothered to ask for extra bed since we were travelling with 11 year old kid; 8. They were so careless that they missed adding Rs 1400 in the final bill during checkout. I went to reception and asked for correction in the bill. 9. Nobody bothered to ask for feedback when we were checking out (we are perfect so keep your feedback with yourself :));…
Stayed for 1 night had a comfortable and decent stay. Food was good staff was courtesy was on high level. Good view parking for big car can be a problem. A good job done by the team spl thanks to pankaj.
We were there as a group and welcomed so warmly by the owner Ashish and his staff. We had lunch and found it extremely delicious. Overall, a must visit place if you want to cherish the imposing presence of Himalayan Peaks.

One of my friends recommended me to stay in golden peak at Mukteshwar. It was really an amazing experience staying at the hotel. Undoubtedly Staff was really good at services. Everything, from food to location was superb. NO CHANCE of any complaints. When my friend told me about the hotel I saw the reviews and I was shocked on reading the review of 9th June and after that I even thought to cancel the reservation but as it was my friend’s recommendation I had to stay there and after my stay I was so so happy with everything. Thank God I didn’t cancelled my reservation. I would also like to suggest you to try this hotel if you are planning to visit MUKTESHWAR.
This hotel has everything what you can expect from a hotel in Mukteshwar like small areas. Decent room size, clean washrooms, garden area, kids play area, valley view, tasty food etc. You won't find all such facilties at such price in Mukteshwar. I searched a lot of hotels and then selected this hotel and I was not wrong. My stay was excellent.(I booked valley facing rooms as they are much better) It is just 5 kilometres from main tourist points like chauli Ki jali and Mukteshwar temple. Though it is a small newly built hotel, may be around 20 rooms, managed by a family, but still they provide best possible services. Terrace garden is also very good. Also they can manage parking facility for around 10 to 15 cars.
Warm, friendly small hotel on the main road leading up to Mukteshwar. Ideally located not too far away from the centre and still away from the hustle bustle. Rooms are decent sized and clean. The staff is very cordial and attentive. Food is simple and delicious. It is made to order only as we went in the off-season. Can cook up Kumaoni cuisine on request. Try to get the outside room with a balcony seating as it offers the best views. Parking could be a problem if all rooms are full so check up on that.
