Called the mobile number listed in google search - +91 98322 27821. Tried to book - the person who answered wanted the credit card details, charged 2000, claimed the charge didnt go through and started charging a lot more multiple times, claiming it was a machine error and he is trying to refund.
Totally a fraud establishment. The good reviews are their own postings. They told me to send Rs.4500/- As advance for booking, I remitted the same and did not get any receipt . They told your booking will not be possible , They not even returned the money in spite of my repeated phone call . Instead they wanted to know my debit card no. Otherwise they will not refund the money. Don't be trapped. I wonder why TRIPADVISOR enlisted such a fraud establishment's name in their website.
The hotel was terrible. even from the standards of Kedarnath it was terrible. the service staff was rude, giving limited food, within 10 minutes of sitting for dinner he was hurrying up for us to vacate the dining hall not even allowing to take food. We were with Senior citizens and kids. It was terribly cold and we requested for Hot water to drink, but the service was terrible. Most people ended up falling sick in this hotel. Book any other hotel , but not this.
Although its situated in such height and odd location, Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Food was below average but manageable . Its close to the temple and thats the biggest advantage. Bathrooms were clean. No hot water or heater in the room. So you have to depend on them for providing a bucket of hot water , which they give 24x7. Adequate blankets and quilts were provided for the cold weather. No towels, toiletries etc are provided. Its a basic room with an attached bathroom.
We - 12 friends- stayed at this hotel on October 1, 2019. The location is the biggest advantage. Just 200 feet from the Kedarnathji temple. Rooms are big enough. Ground floor rooms dont get hoti water in the rooms. They serve hot water in buckets starting 330 AM. The first floor rooms have geaser in the rooms. Toilets are good. Food is average. Only negative is some staff are not polite. Also, you dont get early morning tea. Overall hygiene is good. Location suppresses all negatives!!

We were four families and took two four bedded rooms and our experience has been wonderful. Positives: a. Nice cosy place b. Very near to the temple c. Good food d. Good service - Timely hot Hot water availability , Clean rooms, Good room service e. The managers do help in arranging for darshan. f. Very reasonably priced Tips: We took the 1st floor rooms and probably because of that we felt too chill
Punjab Sindh Awas, Kedarnath is the most comfortable and worth staying hotel. The rooms have homely essence. And the rooms have four bedded and extra bed facility. Contect us 9412915221,9897370754,9412914942..
Yes my experience was good in this hotel. Its only 100 meter away from the temple. Room, toilets are clean and staffs are very good and helpful. And this hotel is having a canteen , you cant get restaurant like food but you will get simple good food. If you want any luxury hotel then its no at this place after 2013.
I was in Kedarnath few days back. I wanted to stay near the temple as was possible and meditate. I got into this Punjab Sind Awas. All rooms were empty. The manager demanded Rs. 800. I accepted. The room was so dirty, as if it was not cleaned in a decade. The carpets and the sheets were smelling. I am still suffering with ailments after couple of weeks. The manager said that they prepare excellent food fresh. I believed him. And ordered for food at a specific time. I refreshed myself under extremely unhygienic conditions and went ahead to visit the temple. On return, the Punjab Sind Awas did not bother to supply the dinner they promised. After waiting for an hour, I dressed up to go out to eat in nearby dhaba. Then this cook comes in with few rotis and very little subji. And he demanded a lot of money for it later. Not only that he demanded big bukshis for it. Being in a holy place in my mind (nothing holy about the people around including the priests and the business community) I accepted his meal with appreciation. The whole thing bothered me. Here everyone in up to deceiving each other. Traveling thousands of kilometers to see your spiritual heart only reveals the dark ugliness of humans. Yes, certainly Kedarnath was one of the most beautiful divine places, nature wise. But the humans there are disgusting. No wonder Kedarnath keeps shaking himself of these abusive, selfish humans around from time to time.…
