Simba cafe & lodge is a quiet property overlooking the valley below and located amongst thick the oak and rhodedendron forest of binsar wildlife sanctuary.
A quiet getaway it provides you with a calmness that one is not able to experience in the cities .It has a small cafe that is filled with books and board games that can fill your void when you waiting for the food.
We stumbled upon this lovely place on our way to Binsar sanctuary. We stopped for a coffee and ended up spending full 5 hours there. There is a stunning meadow opposite this cafe and there is an ancient temple too. The ambience of cafe, furniture and the food quality was excellent. The sunset is awesome.
We a group of 6 people stayed at Simba cafe for one night . It's a wonderful small property with three rooms and a cafe . Hospitality was good . Food was amazing . Only drawback is rooms are not having any charging points though all essential amenities are there at rooms . Overall a great stay at just 3-4km away form zero point .
Visited Binsar in October. The place is a throwback to the erstwhile days before the advent of technology in our lives. You have only 3 rooms - No Internet, No Charging Points and No Intercom even - you have a beautifully designed restaurant on the floor above complete with set of books and novels on various topics to read. It's inside the sanctuary so be prepared for some high prices on the Accommodation and Food side. But if you want the feel of the jungle - then this is the place to be.
Visited binsar on 22-24 March. Nice staff and nice rooms. Food was also good. Nice place for families (also with kids). 4 km from zero point. Inside bird sanctuary so good if you are looking for trek or leasure walks.
