We were here in last Kumbh. The Camp site had the best of all. We have also stayed in Camp sides in Pushkar and Jaisalmer as we belong to Jaipur itself. We had all 4 meals included in the room tarrif. Food served was of pure desi ghee and satvick. We went as 5 couples and selected Krishna Niwas which was their luxury Camp. I must say keeping a Camp site in mind these guys had delvered an exceptional hotel like service. There was dedicated travel desk which took us for boat rides on day one. On day 2 we had witnessed awesome Akahara tour , Naga Sadhus, Aghoris, Kinnar Akahara, Pilot Baba with certified guide given by the camp side on an Innova. Evening they had born fire and mild music sessions. Best part was that we as a couples got quality time and our kids were buzi playing volleyball, football and other games in the resort. We performed short havan and pooja on last day of our stay and went with a heavy heart. Looking forward to visit in next kumbh. Thank you v much entire team and super duper thanks to Varun & Harsh.

Located just near the Ganga Front in the Kumbh (Perfect location), the Cottage is clean and provides you great hospitality.The cottage owner & staff is very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. Rishikul Kumbh Cottages provides you almost every facilities from good rooms to Boat Tours, Akhara Tours, Travel Assistance and much more. The Rishikul Parvat was great its 30 feet high from the ground dedicated to enjoy the Panoramic view of the Kumbh Mela. When i say food was great(i mean it :)). I'll recommend this Rishikul Kumbh Cottages to every couple, families, friends & solo trip lovers:). You wont regret,just be there:)

We stayed at this tent cottages for three nights . We did lot of research while looking for a decent place to stay during our visit to Prayagraj. I went through the reviews and almost made up my mind to stay here . We got the booking on expensive side which was equivalent to a five star hotel rent . The tents are reasonably big with attached bath n toilet. They do provide hot water but only for two hours plus . The whole team is quite welcoming . Catering is very good . Very tasty vegetarian food . We stayed at Krishna Niwas. Very nice environment. We enjoyed our stay . This place was very close to some of the state sponsored attractions.

Suffers primarily from lack of organisation, resulting in low standard of hygiene and cleanliness (kitchen and dining area especially), Inefficient hospitality. Though we booked for 3 in one room and arrived post lunch, the accommodation was not ready. Despite their assurances that they will have everything organised, including extra bed, nothing was done till dinner time! Food tables were not cleaned and remains of lunch could be seen on them at dinner time. Some staff was helpful though in helping out when we desperately needed a cab. Food was fine in taste but led to upset tummies due to poor cooking conditions. They need to get their act together.

We booked a one night stay for 6 people (3 tents) for late January (Paush Poornima) at Rishikul Kumbh Cottages. Had a remarkable experience that I think is near impossible to replicate — thanks largely to the hospitality shown to us by owner Harsh Agarwal and family.
We arrived a little later than expected due to heavy traffic from Varanasi. As a result of this the triveni sangam access was closed off for the day. Also access to many parts of Kumbh was closed to vehicular traffic. We had been down to the river banks and could find a taxi ride back.
We were feeling a little frustrated and called up our hosts. Harsh Agarwal, offered to pick us up in his personal vehicle around 630 pm. Thereafter, seeing that we were missing out, and knowing that we would leave the next morning, he proceeded to hive us a tour of all of kumbh in his personal vehicle!
Needless to say, being a local and and an expert in the city we got a great tour stopping at the many akharas, and chatting With naga-sadhus etc. His vehicle also had authorized entry to the kumbh areas, which we likely could not have procured on our own!
After we returned, past closing time for the catering — he arranged for the kitchen to serve us an excellent meal! The accomodations are quite nice, large clean tents with attached baths. Running hot and cold water and space heaters.
They also arranged a car (3rd party), for us to go to the triveni sangam at 5 am and offered their personal cell numbers as a contingency if the car was late (unfortunately the car service was late and we had to bother them, and they came through for us).
We have never experienced such hospitality, care, and service!! I recommend this with no reservations.

It was a superb stay at Rishikul. Great hospitality from the owners. Good quality food and very nicely done cottages. Every cottage equipped with saregama caravan for old songs nostalgia. View from Rishikul Parbat at anytime of the day is majestic. All in all a great way to visit Kumbh. Location is also very strategic with everything nearby!!

I visited Rishikul Cottage along with friends and family and booked three cottages while paying as much as I would for a 5 star property, expecting a peaceful, hygienic and hassle free experience, given their premium pricing.
Even as check in time was 12:00 noon, I had informed them in advance about our late arrival (around 8 PM in the night) and requested for little delayed checkout the following day by shifting it to 12:00 noon as our group consisted of age group of 6 year olds to 70 year olds and we had a hectic travel schedule for previous two days.
Despite informing them of our arrival time which was 8 hours later than usual, our tents were not kept ready and we had to wait for an hour and half before my elderly and tired parents and young kids could check in.
Next day, quite insensitively, their staff started knocking at our doors at 9 am to vacate the tents, and literally drove us out of the tent by 10 am, while we could clearly see that no one occupied the tents for next 2 hours.
On top of it, given the mess they were in due to gross mismanagement of guest needs, they allotted taxi booked for us to some other guests , even without informing us! They did not even have enough chairs and a good waiting lounge where my parents and young kids could have relaxed, for next two hours as we were stranded without taxi due to their mismanagement.
While the government's arrangements made for Kumbh Snan were outstanding and we were able to fulfill our core objective of the visit with amazing experience, however Rishikul Cottage staffs' gross mismanagement of our visit and absolutely unrepentant attitude did leave a negative tinge to our overall visit.
I will sure not recommend them, especially because it was not just me, but quite a few guests whose needs and hospitality were being grossly mismanaged.

We had opted for the deluxe tents. It was quite spacious and comfortable for 3 people. The food was also average, nothing great. All basic facilities are in place but do not expect anything much. Not value for money though.
