We were there for a day stay.. location, staffs, ambience was good and seems to be renovated now after our visit. Will try hitting there again soon maybe for stay with my family this time. Shall post new review once i revisit..
I booked it from make my trip, which mentioned hotel had a bar but bar was closed six months ago, there was no tandoori item available, not even a cold coffee, in short it feel they were closing the hotel soon Don't book
Went for lunch at the hotel. Buffet was ongoing at rate of 450/- + taxes. Food was hardly appealing. When I asked for ala carte options, I was almost refused stating it would take half an hour. I had the option of taking any food on ala carte basis from the buffet. Wanted a pepsi but that had also gone out of stock. Wanted to have a look at one of the rooms for future visit – but was politely refused as none of them were clean – even though hotel was half full. Overall an average experience at a place that could have offered more.
This is a normal resort. Restaurant is ok category. We were in the doom type room. Not so exiting. Don't expect too much. Swimming pool is average. Sport activity is not that much. Childrens park was not maintained.
This place used to be A ITDC property , later bought by Sterling resorts , now it is INDECO , The property is close to the main Shore temple , Good parking place , Food is average , staff ok Ok . Place needs an improvement
Amazing Place. Bristish Colonian Coffee Estate. Carefully Restored, maintained and Run by a young couple. With delicious food and great ambience. Staff is very well trained and helpful. Excellent veiw of the sun riseing over coffee estate.
INDeco Hotel in Mahabalipuram is situated about 500 m from the beach, near the Shore Temple. It claims to be a Heritage Hotel. It's a decent comfortable place to spend a couple of days, but the place needs some maintenance and upgrade. The reception is colourful and the staff is co-operative and helpful. They have a bar named Olive Bar but be aware that it's been closed for the past couple of years, so make sure that you carry your own tipple, unless you wish to chug down some beer in the restaurant. The restaurant is Ok for breakfast, coffee but don't expect culinary delights there. Its adequate for a simple lunch or dinner. Alternatively there are some good South Indian restaurants a couple of kilometers away. All in all, a decent hotel, but could have been better.
This resort is very close to shore temple and has a lot of activities that can entertain the people of all the ages ( 3-70). 1. Trampoline 2. theme-based cottages 3. temperature controlled pool 4. Shuttle 5. carroms 6. table tennis 7. many antiques to go around.
Very bad hotel I ever stay chee the pool his very dirty and the restaurant staff r not even coming and asking us the feedback and the lady in the reception ordered me to check as soon as possible very bad they don't even tell us thank you while checking out it was so bad
enjoyed staying there. Staffs at restaurant were provided amazing service. Nice ambience. Private access to beach is not maintained well. Overpriced buffets. Please take care of the taste of morning buffet. Delux room is very small. Your staffs are so lovable. Special thanks to Ms.Mahalakshmi.
