It is the place if you want to stay away from the maddening crowd and be with the serene nature. On top of a hill from where you get a beautiful view of tea gardens right from a big window of your room. It is made with a specific taste and for people who want to relax and enjoy the serenity of Kotagiri. There are two blocks, Pipal and Banyan and each have 4 rooms - 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. All the rooms are same except the rooms on the first floor get an additional common space between the two rooms. This is the place where you can relax sitting on the couch and enjoy the nature for hours. The entire area is covered with glass so pretty much safe for children. The rooms are quite big in size with an awesome bed which is very comfortable. The room has a a big dressing area with closets. The bathroom is really big as well. The entire place is kept very tidy and well managed. The staff is very polite and attentive to your needs. The food is simply amazing. Limited varieties but mouthwatering and more importantly it is priced reasonably. They have a small restaurant but you will always find it clean and hygienic. The garden is small and beautiful with evenly cut grass and some of the best varieties of flowers. A picture perfect place. Parking is a bit of an issue especially when all the rooms are booked, but it is manageable. Stay little longer to enjoy the place as a stay of one night may not do justice to your trip. The connectivity to Ooty highway is less than 2 kms so you can go for a scenic drive and come back in about an hour or so.…

I have been there with my family on 28th May, planned to stay for 1 Night, But extended the stay for 1 more, as the Property and the Location is very good, Excellent Service by the staff, well maintained rooms, The Only difficulty we faced is the restaurant is very small and the kitchen next door does not have proper ventilation, so the cooking food smells are too strong. We stayed in TwinTree Kotagiri for 3 days with Family and it was a great experience and we enjoyed the stay. Especially the facilities are awesome, Especially the flexibility in ordering food items , and cool & pleasant stay and the maintenance all good. Overall we enjoyed staying and the treatment is excellent.

Excellent and Marvelous. This hotel located in a scenic place and very close to Kotagiri town. Hospitality and food court is also excellent. The traffic for room and food is very reasonable and affordable. If I am visiting Nilgiris in future, I will prefer to stay here and could not think of other places. Thanks you very much Mr. Ravichandran for providing wonderful stay and food. Please continue the same forever. Also please convey my warm regards to all your staff.

Property : Not very big and sprawling but very neat n clean. Small yet awesome lawns for family sit outs in morning n evenings. Rooms very big and clean with awesome rest rooms. The first floor rooms give u an amazing view of Kotagiri. All 08 rooms are nicely kept, big king size beds, LCD TV, nice curtains n good small carpets! Staff : Not much staff as its a small property with 08 rooms but very good two staff (Subhash n Ram). Very nice n talented Cook (An Odiya chap). Couple of part time cleaners. The Owner/Management : This property is managed by Mr. Ravi (A very awesome man....but dont expect any discount from him :) ) and at times he is assisted by his elder son (Abhishek) a very cute buddy and the most helpful guy in the whole property. A very good human being. Approach/Location : This property is situated at Corsley Road and is just opposite to Riverside High School. Though the property folks have yet not put sign boards in the whole town but all guests can simply keep asking "Riverside High School" as the resort is just opp the school. Cost/Discount etc : Well, the room tariff does not include any breakfast or other food. Its the charge only for the room. Rest everything we have to buy. The food is awesome. The tea is very nice (though if served in pots, it will be hot for sometime). If you are looking for any discounts, don't expect much :) but it depends also!! Overall Feedback : A very lovely place to stay with family/friends. Staffs are very nice with Abhishek and Mr. Ravi nicer people. A must stay at least once. It was my first visit to kotagiri with my family. This hotel is located in an ideal place. We stayed there for four days and I cherish every moment of it. Kotagiri’s twin tree hotel is an excellent staying location. The two wings (banyan and Pipal) have four rooms each i.e. only 8 rooms in all hence no hustle and bustle. Lavatories are clean. Serene dining place with helpful staff. Fresh and warm food. Had the opportunity to see Bison’s on the hills close-by once. Ooty is just 25 km from this place about half an hour car ride. Won’t mind staying in the same place again on my next visit. wi-fi for rooms would have been a help.

Was there Aug 15 2015. i must say this is really a nice and decent hotel to stay. well laid out. good spacious room and well maintained. clean bathroom / restroom. nice cozy and comfortable bed and bed spreads. fresh clean towels. i also like their french window. Quality of the food is SUPERB. good, decent, friendly, manager, staff and cook.you can relax and you put ur feet up and enjoy the nature. chapathi ( really soft ) and pepper chicken fry tasted so very good. Morning south indian break fast tasted excellent. hope they maintain it. ALL THE VERY BEST GUYS. I highly recommend TWIN TREE.

We checked in with no prior reservation. The resident chef made snacks for us in no time. Once we told them what we wanted for dinner, they got stuff from the market, and had the dinner ready within the time they promised. Very friendly and accomodative staff!

I am a regular to Kotagiri. This place came recommended through a friend. Stayed here just for a night. The place was clean and neat. The room and bath were clean as well. Great views of the mountains around and conveniently located.
