I stayed in hotel in last week of September,2019 with my family in Peling. Good service hotel and good tasty food provided by Hotel. People can see kanchanjanga view from windows and terrace. Hotel rooms were clean. hotel staffs were kind and polite. very good balcony view to valley, sunrise. Food prices were very economical. overall good hotel.
Bad room poor WiFi poor service and worst food quality not deserve two star also it has small TV and it is also not working they didn't come after one call easily in duplex rooms toilet are so poor. Not cleaned also
This Hotel provides wonderful view from the balcony of the room.. rates are very reasonable compared to others.. but yes rooms need more management..food quality is average too.. staff is good and quick too..
Hotel is a prime location to enjoy the valley and staff is very passionate, however, the condition of the rooms is not exactly pristine. WiFi works better in second floor in building as router is placed on the kitchen/dinning area. Room Service was hit or miss in terms of food, which is not a concerns as hotel is close to lot of restaurants in Lower Pelling road.
This hotel is located in lower Pelling. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Hot water is available. This hotel is run by a bunch of young and energetic lads who are very helpful in all aspects. For dinner, you have to pre order but food is good and tasty. Service is excellent. The owner Dipenji is a very helpful person. He arranged cab for us for our entire stay in Sikkim. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip in Pelling.
While booking one can reach out to the hotel and thats it. The hotel manager -guess owner Deepen becomes family and is always available on phone for any advice/suggestions etc. The hotel is actually a view point where you can see the Kanchenjunga from your room..yes true...there is an uninterrupted view of the valley and the mighty Himalayas beyond that The restaurant is on the 4th floor or so..its on the terrace so you can enjoy the Kanchenjunga while sipping a piping hot tea/coffee. The hotel staff is very courteous all the boys - ever smiling and going the extra mile to help you with any demand This is however not like a run of the mill hotel that people from the metros might be used to..the bathrooms are clean but not very modern. You need to carry toiletries as hotel does not provide. However there is a provision and general store in the hotel's ground floor.Room is of decent size but again not like the 2,3 stars you might be used to.Breakfast you do not get much choices and quantity is also limited. Lunch and dinner takes time but then the food is always fresh and very tasty. Its like one of those typical mountain hotels not grand but one that people will go again and again for the view and the smiling bunch of hotel staff who are there to help you at any cost. Since there is no lifts if you have aged people then you might want to avoid Finally if you love the mountains and ready to compromise a little on the hotel quality just go for this hotel as all said and done the view you have from here you will not get anywhere else in Pelling…
We had a one night stay in Pelling, and had booked 2 rooms here. We reached almost at around 8 p.m. in the night. The hotel is located almost at the end of Lower Pelling, and it felt like we were almost out of the inhabited area, while reaching there. There are just 2 rooms on each floor, and were on the third one. It is run by a bunch of lads, who are ever willing to help you out. The food order had to be placed around half an hour in advance, because everything is prepared to order. Pros: 1. VIEW! The major pro you get to take advantage of, is the unobstructed view of Kanchenjunga. Get up at 4-4.30a.m., slide the window open, and you are done! 2. Hot Water: A necessity, they have geysers supplying hot water at a moment's notice. 3. Affordable: The 2 rooms for the night cost us 4.5k or so, considering this was the peak season. 4. TV: With the set-top box, of course. 5. Basic Toiletries and towels provided. Cons: 1. Insects: If your window ain't closed when it's dark, you may be inviting some insects over. 2. Food: It is not bad, it is just very basic. 1 veg curry, 1 non veg curry, chapatis, morning tea and toast cost us around 500. That is pretty much it! :)…
Room quality is not upto the mark Bathrooms are not very clean Kanchengungha is visible from the rooms Food quality is average Hotel staffs are good and helpful The hotel is at lower pelling Ravangla market is better and bigger than pelling market.
it is a good hotel if you want sanity and calm, hotel staff are good n polite. management need to pull up it self as kitchen needs to improve . view was awesome from balcony. make sure to have warm cloths as hotel does't offer room heater.
It should be called Hotel Happy View ❤️ The service is superb-the staff lead by Anurag is very caring. The rooms are clean& the view of the mountains from the windows and the terrace is awesome.
