I stayed here along with my family for 2 nights. Hotel is average but rate is quite high. Don't have an intercom! Food is average, rooms are clean but don't have actual room service. It's like a home stay not a proper hotel ambiance.
We stayed in this hotel in June 2019 for two nights. Neat and clean room along with a good view of the valley from the room. Real friendly atmosphere. Will recommend for anyone who wants to spend calm and quite family time. Regards Sarbendu
Travelling India for some time you surely have to adjust you standards but this hotel stands out in positive way. Room are ok however with beautiful view. Food is just delicious in the restaurant there and the owner ia extremelly helpful and nice and will make sure to fulfill any of your requests. Also wifi is fast and functioning also in the room. Really enjoyed the dinner, night and breakfast here.
Excellent location . Great view of majestic Kanchendjungha from room. Very good behavior of the owner and staff. Food was very tasty and service was also very good. Helipad and market is just walking distance.
On the very first place this property doesn't exist. The owner( Sudan Chetri) is cordial and will guide you to a different property which has no name/ entrance/ reception/ security. The Blue Hills property is under construction is the reason he will cite. While Sudan is a patient n helpful person but staying in the property is surely a terrible experience. There are no ammenities, no security. If you have a senior person in the group then there is no elevator. It is definitely a catch for 2k a room.
1.Amazing view 2.Good service 3.comfortable rooms 4.co-operative Staff wake up to an amazing view of kanchenjunga and enjoy the breathtaking misty view of mountains...Rooms are comfortable and clean...and upon request staff would also arrange Bonfire.
At Hotel Blue Hills I just spared 4 days with sight scene. The location of the hotel is very nice and peaceful. the rooms are very nice. T think the travelers will enjoy the place beauty. Always I will stay here at Pelling.
I approached this hotel over phone as well as email. I must have tried nearly 20 times to call all 3 numbers given on their website. Finally I got through one number of Mr. Sudan Chettri, who seems to be the owner. To my question on the room tariff his reply was that he is the owner and I have to contact the reservation desk to know that. I accept that suggestion, but what if I can't reach those number with my innumerable tries. He returned my call with a remark that they are not able to reach me, then how come he is getting me to convey that message? How much ever good the hotel maybe, attitude matters. In hospitality industry it is very important to go an extra mile to make guest happy so that they talk good about the property. Even if they provide me complimentary I will not stay in such a place. Finally, they replied to me over email that they are sold out, which is not true as my friend got a booking after me on the same dates, though they cancelled it after hearing my remarks.…
I visited this hotel on May'2017. Well decorated and nicely maintain hotel with mesmerizing view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Hotel owner Mr.Nandan Chettri is a kind hearted and friendly person. Rooms are neat and clean, staffs are very polite and friendly. Food quality is good. My friend Nandan thnx for your effort to make my trip memorable.
The rooms we got were fantastic!! The rooms were clean and the view was breathtaking. However, we were unlucky when it came to the facilities. We experienced water shortage and a bit of electricity problem during our stay.. We were a group of 7 and all suffered from stomach problems in Pelling! We didn't eat anything else other than the hotel food but all of us suffered. The hotel owner Nandan was very friendly and helpful and along with his team tried hard to make our stay memorable. :)
