Loved the place and the Manager was super nice. He took care that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Inspite of Hotel rooms being completely booked he made sure we had the best stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
It is worst possible service u can wish in any hotel If the management didn't wake up It's catastrophy We stayed on 22nd April Food was really horrible So called breakfast included buns And jam It's badly maintained and badly looked after I strongly recommend to TripAdvisor to withdraw this hotel from.pellinghotel list It's NOT WORTH OF RATING FORGET RATING PZ BLACK LIST THIS HOTEL
It is a very beautiful place to stay at Pelling. The room was very cozy and comfortable. Nice food as well and very well maintained. Good location, good views from the rooms. The staff was extremely accommodating, for our needs and demands. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We got this hotel through our tour operator. Its well managed. Courteous staff, always ready to help. Just one negative point, that you should avoid taking food here, as the kitchen is not so hygienic and food /breakfast is not good in taste. Restaurant is having very dim lights. Little problem of electricity cut off. amazing!!! they have a genset outside hotel, but they don't use it. Hotel rooms/amenities , interior are very good. Again , the staff (young boys) are very courteous and helpful. Also , very nice view from hotel.
To TripAdvisor: why can't there be a zero rating? Those who are considering this property, here are the details of the ordeal. Well in few words, relieved to have checked out today after two nights stay. Rooms are 'once upon a time and forgotten'. To me it was Decay to be seen but surely not experienced. Me and my family were unfortunate - we experienced it. Bathrooms are there. Geyser is there. But expect droplets when you go to relieve yourself. Moths make the basin their suicide destination. Hotel gives those tiny soaps - bigger than the tablets and small enough to do a Houdini trick. Towels are there. Period. Dont ask anything more. No napkins. Had to ask for soap tablets since only one was given per room. Was assured of breakfast and dinner. Lo and behold seldom did we realize that we will have to assure ourselves that it is edible. First night the dal was nothing but remnant of few lentils in pot full of water. Being vegetarian our choice was limited - immodestly - it was heart breaking and gut wrenching. In one way these guys make you go on diet without you realizing it and that too after paying them and you expecting a banquet. Maybe me and my family dreamt too much. But then the experience was repeated the second day. Albeit the second day there was marginal improvement due to the voiceforous complaints that we did. Breakfast was anytime better - in comparison to the dinner. Bread Zindabad. Rest was not even a visual delight; forget the taste buds. Today morning got saved by slice of banana and watermelon. In short it's a paradise for people on diet. Rooms are modest. Our two rooms did oversee the mountain range. Chairs are not there. There are stools - don't take me wrongly. TV is there and it's a miracle that they did work after calling for help. Electronics engineering students can very well see the concepts of tv in action. Bed linen had stains and one of the pillows was villanous in appearance - blackish. There were few critters but I believe we were unfortunate. Ambience, when done was done with traditional taste. But I believe nobody has thereafter turned for their upkeep. Staff is good. Consists of young guys / students. Very polite but then if management is wrong then the staff doesn't count. I infer that the management is cutting corners at our costs. Me and my family have gone through it. But surely I am going to pull up my travel coordinator for good. Better to be safe than sorry. I am in a sorry state. What about you?…
this is a very dirty hotel, beds and pillows stink , windows and doors don't lock , food is terribly overpriced. service is pathetic . there is scarcity of water ,forget warm water ! though some rooms offer good views but its not value for money.
One of the Best hotel in Upper Pelling area.... The location of the said is just breathtaking and the view of Mt. Khangchendzonga.... The splendid view will make you simply speechless... Exclusive rooms with elegant wooden finish are really warm and pleasant.... Big Hotel with warm service, traditional foods are very much in demand and other tasty cuisines are really awesome... Just drop by and have a marvelous vacation on the Himalayas.........
Rooms are not very clean ,fresh. Good view of ranges from some rooms. was in the storage room and the condition of mattress , pillows was bad. desk info was good for local travel attractions etc. location is good

I stayed here at Hotel Phamrong with my family. Hotel Phamrong is located tactically at upper Pelling, just opposite to SBI ATM . Look of mount Kanchenjunga for view rooms as they provide great view of the mountain range. The manager was very cooperative and provided good services. The sun rise from the hotel room was mesmerizing. One can also go to the terrace and enjoy the beauty of the mountain range.
