It was raining when we reached Pelling from Rinchenpong. We crossed the Pelling town and reached Khecheopalri lake a little later. The narrow muddy alley that leads to the lake was almost empty with not much tourists. We slowly started walking towards the lake enjoying the cold and wet breeze. The water of the lake is considered holy by the localities and you can see lots of fishes swimming near the banks. On our way back near the car parking we found few shops selling hot Maggie and tea which was a treat to our hungry souls in the cold weather.
