Yarlum resort is a very well maintained nice and cozy place to stay in Lachung. The food is very nice in taste and gives a feel of home cooked food. The resort has maintained its history and heritage which you will be able to see throughout the pictures in the resort. The best part was the library with good collection of books and vintage movie collection.

The hotel service's are really nice. The ataff members are very polite and welcoming. Great location and food. The rooms are warm and cosy. Great outdoor sitting area. I strongly recommend to saty at this hotel when you come to visit lachung.

Excellent hospitality , good rooms, good food and good location. Room maintenance is very good and service is good. Only problem there are no cupboards with hangers for dresses. The outside view from balcony is memorable. It got a library inside for book lovers. All staffs are very helpful. Ms Doenka Bhutia madam was very helpful and she is an asset to the property. Spa and bar adds value to the property.

Very well maintained and the staff is extremely hospitable. We stayed there for 2 nights. Very comfortable stay. The library has a very good collection where you can spend some time. The staff is extremely hospitable. Especially Jeevan and Babita took very good care. They went out of their way to help us with the kids food

My 2 night stay at Yarlam Resort was made very comfortable with the excellent hospitality of the staff who made the extra effort to ensure my dietary requests for non spicy food was met superbly on both nights at dinner. Great thank you to the lady Chef, Jeevan Thapa, Bobita and the Front desk staff at the Yarlam (whose names I did not get), and Lode (Manager). My room was comfortably warm and the staff ensured that I would get 2 bottles of very warm drinking water each night to keep me warm. The staff were all very cheerful and I felt they were genuinely concerned for me as a solo female traveller. The room was very clean and all amenities in the room were useful for my stay.

We stayed in a suit room , given 201 on 2nd floor at 5.15 pm on 15.5.23, the electric kettle was not working , almost all the plug points were broken , no hot water in bathroom . For half an hour we kept on phoning reception/ housekeeping , no solution . Only after giving a good earful shouting , they changed room to 301, thankfully everything was working . Worst experience in a hotel which charges rates of 7 star but gives service of one star . They offer full meal rates but due to the timings of sight seeing most of the guests can not take breakfast or lunch . So money goes completely waste . Many dishes were repeated in dinner and lunch .compared to the charges food was very ordinary . They do not have a tandoor , so no tandoori dishes , not even nan. One should book without meal rooms in lachung . Yarlam is Too much over hyped hotel , not worth even half the rates . …

Dear Mr Arun, Thank you for choosing to stay at Yarlam! We sincerely accept your personal opinion and apologize for the problems faced by you. We assure you that it is our continuous endeavour to make eacb stay a comfortable and pleasurable one. For the benefit of all other readers it is worth mentioning few things here. That the plug points in the rooms are childproof and have a safety feature which may be a problem for some.. We have checked and replaced few broken sockets already. Our meal timings are standard Breakfast : 7.30 am - 10.30 am Lunch: 12.30 pm - 3.30 pm Dinner : 7pm - 10 pm And we serve a wide range of buffet.. including south indian, continental & local both veg and non veg. We serve a good selection of chinese, continental and North indian for lunch and dinner. As can be seen from numerous other reviews our strength is our F&B and most of our guests have favourably written in this regards. We can confidently claim that what we provide in terms of service, food and accommodation is absolute value for money and most of our guest agree to this. Exceptions are always there!! We regret that despite our honest attempt to make your stay pleasant you left unsatisfied. Best regards, Hotel Management team.

FOOD- No one want ro take responsibility, restaurant’s food is pathetic, everything gets empty and they take 15-20 min to refill. After long wait, you get pathetic remake of food which is not edible. For lunch they refused to make roti- although we were ready to pay extra for it. If u get rice- daal is empty, soup is empty, if u get roti- subji is empty! By the time you get sabji- roti is cold. When we complained- roti khaya to sahi- sabji nahi tha , to kis k sath khaya? To meet appetite- we ate something pathetic and , since we ate- we can’t complain! Hospitality is worst! No welcome drink served- not even water. Chef - guy - was not responsible, said, I don’t know- kisne counter pe bahar rakh diya! It was under process! Mr Jeevan Thapa- manager of restaurant- run away and did not take responsibility at all. We stayed for 2 nights and had all meals included. All were worst. SPA- Nothing special- all with olive oil and routine. No refreshing drink served. No lift. Property is good. This is the costliest one in Lachun! Dont include meal. Better to go to a simple small place for stay.…

Hospitable warm cocoon , where we enjoyed tasty food , attentive service with « yes I can « attitude and heritage atmosphere and cozy bar . One of the best or rather the best property in Lachung. Great hospitality, delicious and great spread of food inspite of the property being remote. Rooms were clean with good heating provision, continuous hot water in the bathrooms, get view of the snow cap mountains and not to forget a cozy & comfortable bar. Special call out to Babita and Jeevan for their service and making sure that we were taken care off. All the staff right from front desk, room service, house keeping etc. were very courteous
