This is a wonderful hotel to live. The village of Lachung itself is so beautiful that you would like to stay there. The hotel is very good. We went in the month of December 2019 when in the evening the temperature was -7 degrees.
The location is wonderful. Full view of the snow capped mountains !! You can hear the lapping of the river below and even you can see the river flowing.
Hot water and geyser provided with slippers and hair dryer.
Good buffet food (100% vegetarian), served during morning, afternoon and night.
Very well behaved staff members. Also the MD of the hotel had a talk with me while we were checking out.
The location of the hotel is awesome !! In the morning the sun rays stream down your window.
It was very very cold during the month of December but we faced no problem in that.

It was Awesome stay at Magellan The Golden Bridge Lachung. The layers of mountains view also nice. Room are near main road,so you might feel noisy little. We stayed for 2night in a room. Since we traveled during March month,we were able to see the snow capped mountains from room and we got the best price from agoda.com. Thanks to Reception crew Anirban for their services on time for various request we made during our stay. The kitchen crew Nabin and all staff's for room service were also very helpful and good. Food was tasty and good quality less spicy masala and oil but believe me it was very good in taste. Cost is similar to outside restaurant. So better order in hotel itself. My wife and I stayed at the Magellans The Golden Bridge on Dec 23 and I must say that we were blown away by the service. The manager Anirban,the chef and the staff are so well-organised and good that we loved every minute spent at the hotel. They went above and beyond what was required of them. The food was great as well. They made sure they took care of all our needs and were very attentive at all times.

One of the worst hotel ever. When we stepped in to the hotel at 1:30 pm, saw the hotel staff and underage kids cleaning the hotel in their undergarments. There was no one at reception and no one knew if they even had a booking. Everyone scrambled for the manager who was also in his nightwear. At last we were given room . On way to the room we saw multiple used room service cutlery,plates , cups etc just lying on the staircase along with bedsheets and towels. Finally we made it to the room which was beyond dirty. Got it thoroughly cleaned only to realise the underage cleaning boy was using guest towel to clean the toilet bowl as well as the sink. Was aghast to say the least. After that we just decided to search for othe property but we were out of luck as almost all other places were fully booked. When we came back, we finally met the manager who was equally unclean as the hotel and room. He mentioned if we would have come 30 min late, we would see a different hotel. All this when our check in time was noon. Food was unhygenic as well. Stay away from this hotel even if that means cancelling trip to lachung. The hotel did not even take our IDs or covid vaccine certificates.

Lachung is a beautiful, quiet place in North Sikkim. We stayed there for a night. The hotel is nice with decent amenities and pretty rooms. Our room had a stunning view of mountains with a stream which looked like as pretty as a picture. That night we were the only guest in the hotel and we got good service. Food was good though options were limited which is quite natural due to remoteness of the place. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for 1 night in February 22'excellent services, great spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, bedwarmer and gyser, the service band food was excellent. The room had great views and we could hear the river flowing just out of windows whole night. Great experience.

We reached here on the 21th February 22 with our family is such extreme rough weather with the temperature dropping down to as low as -4 digress and continuous snowfall for all the days that we stayed here. Can't thank these guys for making us feel so comfortable and totally at home. The hotel manager Mr. Anirban Mitral was always available with his ever smiling face to take care of all our needs and 2 boys Dipesh and prem who served us such amazing food with so much warmth. Last but not the least,a very big thank you to their chef for cooking us such yummy food single handed for breakfast,lunch and dinner. A very big thank you to all of them for giving us such a beautiful experience.

We are looking forward to coming back with family members and friends because, This is was the truly unique and memorable experience. The situated in the heart of lachung, very close to the main road. We were in a suite with a view of the entire mountain range. Even though it was cold and rainy, our room was toasty warm with state of the art bed heating. Room service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Honestly sharing,this is the best hotel I have ever visited,the amenities and behavior of the staff were too polite,if next time I am visiting I am definitely gonna choose the same hotel. We never had such beautiful experience anywhere in India. Highly recommend
