We stayed in Golden Tashi Gakhil resort for 3 days in December 2021. The location of this beautiful resort is superb. The majestic view of the Lachung river in midst of mountains is very soothing. The hospitality of the hotel staff was at par. The hotel manager Mr Rohit is very cordial and helpful and does all efforts to make the stay comfortable. All hotel staff including Palzer and others are heavily invested in making the guests comfortable. The food was good. Chef Roshan beside cooking good food,is very joyous in nature. Rooms are well decorated and offer scenic views of the Lachung river and mountains. We witnessed the snowfall there. Hotel staff especially Palzer involved all guests for fun in the snow, making it a memorable trip for us.

Very comfortable hotel. The location is very nice. We were provided with a valley view room. The room view was splendid with the river flowing, Lachung village and the mountains backdrop.
Room was clean, service is fast and prompt. They provide you heaters if needed. We were able to try out local Sikkimese food by informing the chef before hand.
Special shout-out to Palzer from Gakhil Resorts. All our requests were accommodated with a big smile which made the entire visit even more enjoyable.

We were a group of 10 that visited this resort during our tour of Sikkim. The hotel staff welcomed us warmly. The food was great and the rooms were very beautiful and spacious. The GM Sunath Rai was especially very helpful and even helped us when we forgot some things in the room while checking out. Definitely worth staying!

We stayed here in April 2022, had a very bad experience. The maintenance is quite poor. Service is indifferent. You've to ask for everything again and again. A staff member was actually dead drunk, though he was perhaps the friendliest. Even small services were extortionately charged. The owner/manager is too arrogant. There is only a poor power backup, expect the power to be switched off for at least 10 hrs per day. At every opportunity, the owner will try to switch power off. In short, don't stay here.

Had a quite comfortable stay , the food was excellent and also quite genuine friendly staff. The room had a great view of valley and river. The host Diksha treated us very well and also arranged a candle light dinner upon my request.

The beautiful view from the hotel room. Very hospitable staffs. Rooms are spacious clean and maintained well. Also having room heaters at extra charges. The western style washroom are having geysers. The in-house restaurant serves Vegetarian food. A Special mention for Ms Diksha who made our stay very comfortable.

The hotel has got a very good ambience with beautiful wooden interiors remniscent of tradtional Sikkimese architecture. The staff were very helpful and courteous Special mention needs to be made of Miss Diksha Gazmer who made every effort to make the stay memorable. I would definitely recommend for anyone planning to visit Lachung.

Being an avid traveller finding good hotel with good staffs is a win win combination. For my second trip to Sikkim Golden Tashi Gakhil Resort at Lachung was absolutely that.
I'm truly thankful to the staffs who took care of our food , stay and many other requirements going out of the way. Starting from receptionist, house keeping staff, chef, service boys and hotel manager everyone was polite, hard working and helpful.
I wish them good luck and request to maintain same standards through out. For my next trip will definitely stay here again!

If one is looking for a perfect stay in Lachung then this is the place. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained with a beautiful view. The food is absolutely delicious which makes one appreciate the chef over and again. The best part is the warm hospitality of the whole staff especially Mr Sunath Rai, the manager, which makes the stay a memorable one. I highly recommend it to everyone.

After the day in Lachen it was really relaxing to reach this hotel. Almost a new property, good rooms even though small, good bathrooms, enough material to manage cold, good service and staff are very helpful. Special shout out to Diksha who went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. You are going to have a rocking career ahead keeping the attitude.
Negative points are ( no parking inside the property and there was some work going in the day time but both manageable.
Food in the restaurant was homely and tasty. Will choose this place again for my family trip!
