We had an excellent experience at Samode Palace for the destination wedding in April 2022. The service is beyond expectations witha persona; touch from everyone, the decor is amazing and the Foo and Beverages is amongst the best in the industry. Truly a Royal experience and good value for money. They deliver what they promised and even much more with surprise additions in the package.
Royality at its best. Stayed there for a family wedding. Royal set ups and ambience. Loved the atmosphere. Each room and floor is filled with historical photos. Friendly staff and hospitality at its best. Would love to be there again. History Royalty Hosipitality
Samode Palace completely exceeded our expectations. This property is STUNNING. Talk about heritage hotels! Everything is period and original, it’s like staying in a museum (in fact, it’s a lot nicer than some of the palace museums we visited). Pros: -Period palace that’s extremely well-maintained and run. Everything is immaculate. -The best room we stayed in! Just incredibly beautiful! -Location: easily accessible from Jaipur, but remote enough that you really get to enjoy nature. -Two stunning pools -The palace tour is a must -Exceptional value for money Cons: -Maybe due to low occupancy the terrace restaurant was closed, and unfortunately, the food was nothing special at the main restaurant. There was also not much ambience. -Would skip the sister property tour, at least in the summer. We paid to go there… to be shown rooms…. I didn’t get it. Maybe if we’d taken the hotel naturalist it would have been better? We really regretted not spending at least another night here, and if we ever come back to Jaipur, this hotel will be a stop for sure.…
I traveled to Samode with my senior citizen mother and we had an amazing time. Each member of staff was superlative and the service and care did the already famed Rajasthani hospitality proud. Nirmal at the restaurant and Mr. Mohan (the head of F&B) are a couple of people I would like to mention, but truly every person at this stunning property was outstanding. We were in a deluxe suite, upgraded for the mobility requirement. My mother was brave and managed a few stairs, but the staff also physically lift guests while in their wheelchairs. That's some level of care. The Palace is over 400 years old and a delight. The menu is presently a bit limited thanks to covid related changes but I didn't really feel a lack in any other way. The food itself was delicious. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and and any service requests are quickly attended, with a smile and with grace. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at Samode.…
Had been to the hotel recently. The hotel stands in a lonely place on a hill surrounded by other hills. The approach from the main road to the hotel is bad with open drain system and dirty road. Once inside you are greeted to the well maintained property. The rooms are clean and provide modern amenities. The room service is decent. Food is tasty and the food portion served is reasonably good. However, the room rent for each night is exhorbitant
We went to celebrate our marriage anniversary. We were fortunate enough to take this decision. We had wonderful stay. We were treated as families and felt like Royals. The service is really great and food is awesome. Blend of Heritage and luxury
We had organised my younger brothers wedding at Samode Palace. Everything about our experience was spot on. The Palace staff is excruciatingly cooperative and always ready to help and solve all problems. Special mention to Manoj ji, Narender ji, Rajeev ji who are completely dedicated and servient. The entire team at Palace is works in cohesion with the sole purpose of providing impeccable and memorable experience to the guest. The food is lip-smacking and we couldn’t failt anything.
The best ever in hospitality. The resort is itself a combined package of luxury and heritage. Attended the family marriage and believe me these guys excelled in their hospitality. A must place to visit, to enjoy a real feel of royality of Rajasthan. A special mention to Mr Narender Sharma and Mr Manoj who made us feel at home with the luxuries of a class hotel.
Stunning property. If you're looking to stay at an actual palace, this is the place. Beautiful hand-painted interiors to give you the maharaja feels in the common spaces. Infinity pool, jacuzzi and spa are a must try too. Food was great but had limited options, although big thanks to the head chef for giving us extra attention. The area is pretty deserted, so if you're in Samode, there's no where to go to other than the property and village tour. By Raghav Hurria
I would have to write an essay in praise of this property and it’s staff to do justice. However, will keep it short. If the purpose of your visit is sight-seeing places like Amer fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar etc., you are better off in Samode Haveli, a cheaper yet luxurious property of same group Samode Palace should be enjoyed as a destination in itself. The front desk manager Mr. Manoj also doubled up as our Guest Relations manager - he organised a very informative tour of the samode palace, which was built in 16th century. It’s a palace you could live in as if you are the royalty - rooms are furnished with furniture used till 100 years back, the chef in the hotel is the Royal chef himself. You can experience the sheesh mahal, durbar hall and sultan mahal as a royalty as you are allowed to touch and use the furniture - it doesn’t feel like a museum 😀. Most of the staff is from the Samode village - wry courteous and knowledgeable of the palace’s history. Mr. Mohan, who manages the F&B in hotel, graciously gave us the village tour taking us to various families of potters, blacksmiths, and the traditional bangle makers who make bangles out of lac (a tree resin). Finally he invited us to his family farm house where we experienced an authentic Rajasthani lunch of veggies grown organically in his own farm. Eager to learn more about Rajasthani cuisine, Mr Manoj graciously organised a Rajasthani meal for us, especially prepare by the Royal chef himself. There is a nice trek to the fort wall, the most beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi, puppet dance in the evening and several such activities that would make your stay here worth 3 days at least. A big shoutout to Manoj, Mohan, Ranjan (restaurant), Rakesh (pool), Naval (housekeeping) and Subhash (guest services) - you have all made our stay at Samode the best of entire Rajasthan trip!!…
