This place is just horrible. The room are very dirty with lot of insects inside. Nothing was working, no water no electricity in the bathroom. The staff is inexistant and the manager is creepy. The staff live in room beside yours and make lot of noise during the night and wake you up in the morning. Please avoud this place...

I really enjoyed my night here after long drive then the rest of the day at the Jain Temple - also amazing and so beautiful. The hotel is comfortable. The room a little run down but the linen was clean and hot water really good once it warmed up. It was so beautiful sitting on the veranda in the evening...

During our Rajasthan tour we spent a night here, far from every technology, just the silence and the nature. Maybe the room was not so clean, and the bed sheet weren't so clean too, but I've seen these almost everywhere in Rajasthan, so I just traveled with my sleeping bag. If you are not so fussy, so this is a...

It was lovely to spend a day in Ranakpur in the midst of touring Rajasthan. Roopam is a simple, basic refuge with decent food and 2 beautiful lakes in walking distance. I had the room with balcony and it was pleasant and no frills. No phone, internet, tv. They arranged for the boatman to meet me at the small lake...

Went out of their way to help, made breakfast and severed it to us outside room. Beautiful setting nice and peaceful. Cons: The mattress were worn out so might as well of slept...

We stayed one night as part of our 2 week drive around Rajasthan. It is a nice quiet location in the bush. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was quite good but more costly then elsewhere. The room was very basic and the linen and towels were extremely worn. The hot water in the shower was...

We stayed at Roopam Resort while visiting the Jain temple in Ranakpur. At first, we thought it would be nice to have some R&R after the busyness of Delhi and Jaipur; however, in hindsight, we should have just stopped to visit the temple and kept going to Udaipur. I'd like to say that the staff were incredibly friendly, considerate and...

The food here is very good, however the staff are unprofessional, rooms are very average and we didn't see the point in staying in Ranakpur at all. Unless you have come specifically for the peace and quiet, if you are visiting the Jain temple, make it a half day trip from Udaipur.

A comfortable stay away from city hustle and bustle. Hardly a horn to be heard. Is only a couple of km away from Jain Temple and a 15 minute walk across the road to a view over a small lake for sunset. A good spot to unwind for a bit. Room was clean and tidy (and huge!!) and we had...
