Worse hotel in the whole of india, the price of a bottle of water is 3x the price anywhere else in india, the rooms where infested with all types of insects that none stop bite you throughout the night, my partner & I both sprayed bug spray all over the beds & watches the insects start crawling out of the mattress, never mind the 20 minute fight we had with the fastest lizard in the world, by far the biggest mistake we made stopping here on our way to udaipur. Would not recommend, sleep outside on the street you’ll get bitten less.
Enroute to visiting the Ranakpur temple had a lunch stop at Roopam . The grounds are massive ,the property is well maintained. Outdoor seating is lovely . Plenty of trees .Lunch was freshly made and served in the garden . Roopam caters to both vegetarian and non vegetarian cuisine. The rooms are comfortable and this place apart from a temple stopover ,can be patronized for a sleepover before trekking and hiking in the surrounding hills . Hitpal Champawat the proprietor has done a great job and can be reached on +917568979291.
This resort conveniently located near the road is a perfect place for relaxing after some days in big cities. You are welcomed by birds, parrots and peacocks... the food is very good and the rooms have a good size. This is a perfect location to visit the Jain temple and Kumbhalgarh fort. A stay there, if you have time, is a better option than visiting these places in a rush by taxi.
Lovely stay in a peaceful environment, with friendly and attentive staff. Perfect for relaxing and resting after two weeks in busy cities in India. The restaurant serves delicious meals and a good breakfast. Spacious rooms, with a large, comfortable bed and hot shower. Excellent value for money.
Peaceful. Relatively low price. Helpful staff. We got a biggish room with two small balconies. Food was good. Amazing birds and monkeys all around. This was a welcome rest from the noisy towns. Not far from Jain temple.
What a nice and peaceful Place! In the middle of Forest,. Monkeys, Squirls, Birds, its the only "Noise" to hear. Staff very friendly, tasty food. Rooms simple but clean. Near to amazing Jain Temple and Kumhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary.
Helpful pleasant staff, evening meal and breakfast good. Wild life all around, parrots, monkeys Langour and Mackaks felt like you are in the jungle. We had the choice of two rooms. Quiet. The ensuite shower room had hot water. I would recommend this property. Note - if you want to see the Jain temple get there well before 5 as it closes then.
While the AC rooms are really spacious, the washrooms are in a very bad conditions. The surrounding of resort is all green and quite, resort seems to be old and construction of rooms are such. Food quality is good but is over priced since there are no restaurants in Ranakpur. Our geyser was not working since they had issue with the pipeline which provides hot water and was extremely inconvenient since the temperatures here is usually very low and cold.
Lovely resort in a green setting. Surrounded by eucalyptus and mango trees. Nicely decorated, spacious and clean rooms. Restaurant serves great food and no problem for the if you've got food allergies. Maybe not cheapest but I think it's worth stopping even if you're passing to go to the Jain temples. The staff is very friendly and helpful. What a paradise after the hectic life in the cities. A place where you can relax and spend hours just looking around you. Or go for walks, loads of monkeys around or spot crocodiles in the two nearby lakes. Reserved for 2 nights, ending up staying 5 nights and after visiting Udaipur I went back to stay an other two nights.
We stayed one night at this resort. when we alled the owner, he promised to give the room for 1000 rupee with breakfast. When we got at the resort, he wanted more money and denied our agreement. We felt cheated. The rooms are basic, old and need refurbishment. The A/C makes a lot of noise, that's why we couldn't sleep very well. Food and drinks are expensive, but fine. I would definitely look for a nicer place to stay.
