Amazing beautiful friendly place. I loved this little Mandawa town the hotel has everything right on your doorstep. Awesome dinner 650 rupee (NZ$13). Love our room on top floor but wouldnt recommend the top floor for people with disabilities or knee issues as steps are steep so ask for one of there amazing rooms on the lower floor. Power does go out so be prepared but they do have a generator so all is good it also adds to a a fun trip oh bring airplugs as buses go passed beeping there horn, but thats fun too. Staff will look after you they are so friendly. I say BOOK you will not regret it.
N28.055171 E75.149710 This haveli is located in the heart of busy Mandawa, close to Sonathaliya Gate. The mansion was built in 1890 and restored as a hotel with rooms around a painted courtyard. The cheapest rooms are small, so it is worth choosing a suite, filled with arches, window seats and numerous small windows. The hotel has three floors of rooms, a garden in front, a rooftop restaurant and a breakfast room. Refreshments are served under a porch near the entrance. The courtyard is a great place to spend some time admiring the paintings. In November 2022, our room Hwala on the ground floor in the left corner had a bedroom with two short beds (not for tall people), a ceiling fan, a sitting room with cooker, refrigerator, television and noisy window air-conditioning and a bathroom with bathtub. Wi-Fi reception was good. Breakfast of continental and Indian dishes is served in the breakfast room. With the general attitude towards maintenance in India and considering the age of the haveli, management did a good job. The shower was warm and the beds clean. Hotel Mandala Haveli offers a good night's sleep in a historic haveli. Recommended.…
Beautiful and historic Haveli, converted to this exclusive hotel. The architectures and paintings are breath taking. Staff was super dedicated and polite. The food was good, and the view from the terrace is worth a dinner. But it was a bit expensive, considering the portions, and the city we were in (mandawa is very small).
Absolutely loved the experience. I will remember it for a long time. The staff was courteous, food was tasty and rooms comfortable/clean. It felt so homely. The haweli is amazing. It was my first ever experience either in a haweli or being at Mandawa. I highly recommend this gorgeous property to have a memorable vacation. Thank you Dinesh ji.
Thank u Dineshji and team for making the trip so comfortable and such excellent service and so tasty food Just a small request plz get the little maintainence of ur rooms But overall experience was great. Thank you sir Jhunjhunwala and Family.
Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful haveli. Such a shame it was only for 1 night as we were just passing through. As you walk up to the impressive entrance, you just know that what's on the other side is going to be spectacular.. and it was! The hotel and grounds within are very tidy and well kept and the restaurant had fabulous thali. As it was Winter, there was a fire in the courtyard that was very inviting and added to the ambiance of the place. The room itself was gorgeous (we stayed in the room named Haresh) and the bed was one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only small downside was that because we visited in Winter, it was absolutely freezing at night in the the room! If we'd have stayed any longer I'd maybe have asked if there was a portable heater available.…
The haveli is perfectly situated along the main market street in Mandawa, although it’s still very quiet. The paintings and carving have been wonderfully restored and we loved the place. Big rooms, friendly and attentive staff + a good breakfast. The highlight was our guide Raja - who had so much knowledge about all the history and showed us places we never would’ve found on our on. I’ve been to India before, and he’s one of the best ones so far!
the hotel is situated in a haveli, a beautifull former city palace. With a courtyard, balconies, roomtop terrace. The decoration is very nice. Our room was very spacious with our own inner courtyard. The bathroom was a little basic
The most beautiful hotel we stayed at during our trip to Rajasthan. We had a deluxe suite which had its very own courtyard. We had views of the fort and city of Jaipur. The staff were very helpful and charming. We ate at the bar downstairs and the mezzanine/rooftop restaurant which both served delicious cuisine. It was Diwali when we were there, so lots of celebrating going on in the evenings. For two nights, the hotel organised some puppeteers to do a show for the guests, which was a lovely touch.
I stayed in Mandawa Haveli for 2 nights and 3 days. The 18th century is beautiful and aesthetically restored. The food was authentic rajasthani cuisine and the staff was always ready to explain the new dishes. Especially loved the food. Rooftop Dinner and a cultural program was organised by Dinesh ji and team. I will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a luxury getaway. Amazing amazing stay and people in a beautiful town. Thank you !!
