Mandawa from outside or for first timers would seem like any other village in rajsthan whose roads become narrower as they approach the main city. But once you enter these tight stretches you would see all foreigners and local tourists sharing roads with Gau mataas. This hotel is centrally located, has enough parking, with big rooms and a decent restaurant....

Mandawa is known for its Havelis. This hotel is a pretty one and is more art than a hotel. The stuff is really nice, but for everything they do for you they expect tips. The rooms are good for indian standard. You can use a nice lounge on the first floor. The restaurant is very good, but if you are...

Quiet little town with a few pretty havellis. A nice place to wander around. This hotel is quite central but quiet. Beautiful peaceful courtyards downstairs and a lovely balcony seating area where the staff will serve food if you don't want to go to the indoor restaurant at the back. Would happily stay here again.

Poor staff and poor service Hotel don't have card machine pls carry cash Breakfast is pathetic ... Service is very poor . Food rating would be 2 out of 10. If you are coming just to stay then it is old converted haveli where you can stay without expectation from anyone .. Bathroom are rusty ... Basic hygiene not there

Excellent hotel and amazing tour around historic Hawali town. The town is like a living musuem from the 1800's. Good food and great service, staff are all friendly. Ask for the glass room, and if you can't get it ask to sew, it's amazing.

The hotel, correction, place to sleep, is in a very nice old renovated haveli but totaly unsuiteble as a hotel. The staff is only friendly when they get a tip. During our one night stay the electricity fell out every 5 min. and even the extra diesel power unit wasn't working properly or they did start this unit at all!...

This is a beautifully restored old haveli. We received a great welcome from the very friendly staff, with flower garlands on arrival, and puppets when we left. Our room was delightful, and perfectly clean. Dinner was very good, breakfast was OK.

The room and the hotel was alright. Quite pretty actually. While checking in, they attempt to charge more than we had agreed beforehand. Additionally, they told us that if we hadn't written an excellent review here on TripAdvisor before checkout, they would charge us for WiFi. So beware of the ratings here..

A beautifully restored Haveli, covered with painted local scenes throughout. It was the wedding season, so it was fully booked when I first tried to stay. However a room was found for the following day. Attentive staff, a good room and a great place to stay to see the real India

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is Hotel Heritage, Mandawa which is in Rajasthan. It is roughly 170 kms away from the Pink City of Jaipur. The hotel is constructed in an area of around 3000 sq. yards. The building has two floors, ground and first. It has large rooms, which have been divided in categories such as Suites, Deluxe, and Standard Rooms. Each room has an attached modern bath. The decorum of these rooms has been created in Rajasthani culture and is seeped in history. Hotel walls boast of miniature paintings, which at places depict amorous postures and at others depict chapters of Indian history. Whereas on the one hand the hotel depicts the ancient culture, on the other hand it provides all the modern amenities a foreign tourist is so used to. The hotel has a restaurant where besides authentic Rajasthani cuisine you can also enjoy continental fares, which will let you keep in touch with your roots. You can enjoy a candlelight dinner as well. There is also a well stocked bar for the ones fond of Bacchus. The greatest plus is that all our guests are welcomed with garlands in the traditional Rajasthani style. You can enjoy an evening of Rajasthani folk dance, music and puppets as well. Special shows are organized on the request of the guests. Books are available here for the reading pleasures of the guests. ... more   less
