Driving down one of the worst roads ever, wondering if going to Mandawa was worth it became an afterthought as soon as I saw the resort. It is spectacular! Quiet, peaceful, quirky and unique, awesome restaurant and staff and a fabulous bar/lounge. It's made of adobe (or something similar...I hate to say "mud") with intricate whitewash designs. It reminded me...

I was there for conference. Rooms are nice cozy, all resort has village looks hence all walls of room are covered by sand layers which keeps room cool in afternoon and warm in night. Walls has typical Rajasthani artwork. We also enjoyed Rajasthani food, which was also tasty. Staff is very helpful.

It's an amazing resort which gives you a nice rustic vibe. When we went there, some event was going so our booked cottage was unavailable. To make up for it, these guys gave us a Maharaja Suite! The suite was humongous and absolutely beautiful. Apart from a few disturbbances from the event, the place is calm and peaceful, perfect to...

Mandawa has it's roots back in time to the ancient trading route between Persia and Far east. It used to be a capital of Shekhawati rulers. Today, Mandawa a hamlet in rustic lands of central Rajasthan. We stayed at Desert Resort for 2 nights in Feb, part of a large corporate group. Rooms & villas have been designed like a...

A nice rural experience with mud houses and a huge expanse of a playground for children to run amok. The pool is huge and the rooms are nice and clean with good room service. The hotel is dotted with little settings in and around the verandah that is ideal for sunbathing

The place is like taken from a Hollywood movie. In the middle of the desert, a large complex of huts and buildings with beautifully manicured garden and a swimming pool from which you can watch the sunset. Rooms are spacious, very large beds, nice bathroom. In the evening they have a puppet show for the guests. No free internet. They...

Travel Date: Jan 2017 Location: Jhunjhunu, Mandawa. In the midst of absolutely beautiful landscape, far far away from the village. Ambience: Excellent, rustic and unique. Huts are designed like village cottages but they modern and have five star bathrooms. Amenities: Everything that you will find in a five star. Cleanliness: 10/10 Service: We didn't really need service so can't say....

This resort are in numbers of huts, is rather difficult to described. The room is bit dark and rustic with very unique furniture and Bed. A/C is adequate. Bathroom could be updated. Food in the restaurant is nothing special. Swimming pool is rather small and not very inviting. We stay only for one night overstop which is OK. on the...

Peaceful quiet and elegant. Had a great 2 day at this hotel. You feel you are in a desert while the hotel provides all facilities required for a comfortable and fun stay. Great cottages with classy interiors. Good food and service. One can just sit on the lawn and read a book peacefully. And if you like to party there...
