Beautiful old Haveli stunningly renovated, bringing the past back to fresh like again. Our room was very spacious, with a separate entry and bathroom. The staff here are very helpful. Shekhar in particular was very polite and attentive to our needs. We had a very pleasant stay.

Five of us wanted a place easily drivable from Delhi to get away in these pandemic times. The haveli was perfect from that aspect - staff was mindful of mask wearing and sanitising, the hotel was large enough you never bumped into too many people.
What made the stay awesome was the charming rooms with nice good beds, solid comfortable plumbing in the bathroom, and wonderful meals from the kitchens, with a nice poolside lawn for sunny winter days.
Attentive and friendly staff like Rahul the manager and Sher Singh in the restaurant helped make it a comfortable and satisfying getaway with friends.
Just don't mind the local temple and mosques' loud competing calls to prayers early morning - you get used to it!

We loved this hotel! It is a recently remodeled haveli that opened as a hotel in July 2019. There are only 11 guest rooms, as well as a pool. The property is beautiful and they maintained the original charm of the property while updating to make it a hotel. We were warmly greeted and quickly checked in. The common area is beautiful, but the rooms were stunning. Our room was spacious, with a large entry room, combo bedroom/sitting room, and bath, and was one of the most beautiful rooms we have stayed in The water tank, while small, provided for quick, hot showers. The creature comforts are more than adequate.
We had a memorable dinner in the dining room, originally the owner’s office. The walls are covered with bright paintings of Hindu gods. There are only 3 tables, and since we were the only guests, we had the dining room to ourselves. The food was delicious (some of the best we had in India) and the service was warm and attentive.
The town of Mandawa is enjoying a bit of a resurgence due to the large numbers of havelis. Some have been restored as hotels, some remain private residences, and some are falling down and being salvaged. The town is a bit down on its luck, but we appreciated the authenticity.
I highly recommend this hotel. The property is beautiful and authentic, the staff warm and accommodating.

The Messenger is a true gem. Excellent accommodations, fantastic location, wonderful food, and impeccable service. The staff is attentive and rivals that of the Four Seasons!
As an American traveler, I have high expectations and tend to be very picky. This hotel experience has greatly surpassed all expectations. It recently underwent a renovation that was completed a few months ago, so it’s a hidden treasure!
The room has the rustic charm of an Exclusive Indian Luxury Haveli. The old-world character is preserved and brought to life with modern touches including a flat screen TV, lounging couch, and high-end bathroom fixtures.
The local-inspired menu rivaled the tastiest food I’ve eaten on my entire trip to India. I highly recommend this hotel.

We just left this hotel and our group can’t stop talking about how much we enjoyed our stay. The recent renovation was done with great attention to detail. This place only has 11 rooms. We used 2 of them and had the place to ourselves. The tiny staff takes care of anything you would ever need. They don't sell alcohol but a staff member was more than happy to run to a local store to buy us some beer and wine. The same staff member was our waiter at dinner and breakfast, gave us a tour of the property including the rooftop and handled our luggage. Based on the offerings at dinner and breakfast you would think this is a big hotel. There are 7 chairs in the gorgeous yet tiny dining room and we used 4 of them. The food was wonderful. They have a beautiful outdoor dining area poolside but it was too cold for us to enjoy that.
Remember this place is nearly 300 years old so little things like central heat and unlimited hot water are not available. The doors creak are and lock with a padlock. For some reason these somewhat unique characteristics added to our enjoyment of the property.

A well-restored painted mansion, now an attentively run heritage hotel. We stayed in a maharaja-class suite, with large bedroom (very comfortable bed and plush sofa) and large bathroom (excellent shower with plenty of very hot water). The bedroom had a space heater and even an electric mattress pad to keep us warm against the winter cold. Service was thoughtful and helpful without being overbearing. We ate three excellent meals featuring local dishes. Mandawa should be on more travelers’ itineraries for the extraordinary painted havelis. We’d have no hesitation about recommending the Legacy as a wonderful place to stay.

This haveli is located in the quant town of Mandawa and truly reflects the Shekawati ethos. We had a beautiful and comfortable stay at Harlalka. The staff here is inclined towards paying personal attention and meeting all our needs and requests. The food here is lip smacking. You will for sure leave this place with some fond memories.

This 275 year old Shekhawati style of Haveli is beautifully made and maintained. It has a few rooms which makes this place homely and peaceful. The staff is amazing, the food is by far one of the best I have had in pretty long. Overall a perfect place to stay in mandawa.
If you get a chance, try and get and upgrade to the pool facing room - the view is amazing.

The service here is outstanding. I was trying to get my padlock on my door and I glanced down and saw someone who just happened to look up at me at the same time. He came rushing up the steps to assist me. I did not even have to ask.
It was pretty cold in Mandawa when we were there, and we had dinner one night outside. They provided boxes of fire pits. When we were outside, waiting for our meeting time, one of the staff tried to have a conversation with us.
Really, service was very, very good.
Wi-Fi was pretty bad, but that is the case in all of Mandawa.
The rooms are unique, as this is a 200-year-old haveli and only 4 years old as a hotel. As a result, there is no elevator, so if steps are an issue for you, be mindful.
Breakfast was served in a warm room and service was very, very good.
The location is also very good, very close to the main market, shops and tours.

This was our first visit to Mandawa and we came across this beautiful , quaint and very well preserved haveli which offers a very unique experience of staying in a heritage property.
The manager, Rahul and all his staff are extremely courteous and gave us a personalised experience in stay and food. We stayed in the Royal Heritage room and it was completely worth it. The food is delicious and one of the best you can get in mandawa. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful stay away from the hustle bustle of the city. Looking forward to visiting again.
