The Kothi is an intimate heritage property restored and preserved, converted from an old haveli to become a modern boutique hotel. Its has feel of India, staff locally appointed from the villages, good tasty food you hardly found some of the dishes we serve here, best rooftop views makes this place best in the town.

The hotel is located near a old beautiful village well and you can see the stunning view of Mandawa village. You can see the whole history in a glance.

What I like is the coziness of the botique hotel. The vibe of the property seems like you are in your ancestors house.

This was our second visit with family. More rooms have been opened and the property maintains its immaculate standards , the courtyard with swimming pool remains a place to relax apart from viewing sunset from the roof.

As Small incident related to food makes me drop the ratings to 4. We ordered 2 Karai chicken and the food was served with hardly any piece of chicken , all bones. On pointing this out the chef was kind enough to provide us with a fresh dish. On checkout we found that they have billed us for the poor serving for a total of 3 dishes. Normally I would have expected that we get charged for 2 dishes only. If the owners understand customer life time value then then Rs 500 earned on a bad dish can result in significant loss if the guest does not visit again.

Again the breakfast serving process is so slow that no two accompanying dishes can be had together , if there is egg then there is no toast , if there is tea then there is no toast etc . Some work needs to be done in the food service department.

Having said that we standby the effort made to meet resident needs. We were coming in late from Jaipur and the hotel staff was prepared to serve a hot bowl of hot chicken soup late into the night

Overall a very good stay at this property, will recommend to all

This amazing hotel is well worth a trip to Mandawa to experience the local atmosphere and the wonderful accommodation that the Mandawa Kothi has to offer. The original old rooms are largely restored, some still undergoing renovations. The rear of the property has a lovely grassed area next to an inground pool and a great cabana site, very nice to enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Our rooms were wonderful with comfortable beds, great separate bathrooms, and all being very quiet. Do remember to turn on the hot water service before you shower – we did not realise this and enjoyed a cold shower, all fun, however. Some of the doorways, being an old building, are rather low so you are reminded to duck your head upon entry. There are nice views over the city and fort of Mandawa from the flat roof of the main building. We had dinner there that evening, a smorgasbord affair with very good and plentiful food. The complimentary Wi-Fi worked well. We were very pleased our small tour group had booked into this hotel and would heartily recommend it.

The hotel Madawa Kothis is a great place to stay and anyone will enjoy their experience there. The rooms are comfortable and well stocked and if you are in need of anything additional the staff is always ready to provide it. My family stayed at Kothi in the coldest season of the year and the room was equipped with a heater and the staff provided delicious hot soups or teas on request. The hotel also featured a spacious backyard with beautiful landscaping and various comfortable places to sit. There was a covered seating area and a lovely pool. When it got cold in the evening the staff lit small fire pits while we sat and talked. Many people who travel to India worry about getting sick from food and my family shared this concern. However, we found all of the food clean and delicious, and the facilities were super clean as well. Overall, this is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

We were a group of 4 families. An amazing Property along with the best hospitality ever received. On top of that, the food was spot on. I even got a chance to speak with the chef. If i need to describe it in 2 words ‘Magical hands’. The property is run by 2 brothers and you shall be treated like a family member. They are always at your disposal for any kind of help. The meals are prepared fresh and only a certain quantity is made. Lavish buffet should not be expected here. A sunset setup was also done for all of us and we got to witness a beautiful one though. But an overall experience was a great one. Highly recommended.

We loved the ambience at Mandawa Kothi - a creative combination of haveli and mod cons. Our room was simply furnished and beautifully clean. The young men running the place were keen to please - as a result the service was delightful. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and an equally lovely breakfast by the pool. There is a very attractive sitting area adjacent to the pool which we would have used had we stayed longer. We were given hot water bottles at night in case the desert air was too chilly. What a lovely example of personalised customer service. Highly recommended.

We (4 adults and 1 infant) stayed in Mandawa Kothi in Feb 2021 and I must say that the property has been beautifully done up. It's a small boutique property with 10 tastefully done rooms in the heart of Mandawa. We took 2 rooms on ground floor. The room and Wash room sizes are quiet decent, well maintained with modern fittings and kept well cleaned. They also have a beautiful swimming pool in the center courtyard complementing the well maintained greens around. The 2 guys (Atul and Piyush) running the show there are extremely humble, always ready to help and very hard working. You will always see them running around doing something or the other without shying away from any kind of work. They ensure that each guest is well taken care of. I would highly recommend this beautiful property to anybody visiting Mandawa.

World world charm , with beautiful decor and personalized service makes MANDAWA K
OTHI a magical experience.
Mr Rajendra and his son Mr Anurag are great host.
Rooms are very elegantly done with beautiful furniture and soft furnishings make it cozy.
Kothi got typical rajsthani architecture where the importance of courtyard is very important. Swimming pool area and it's adjoining lounge area is the place where you will fall in love with this place .
Food is tasty and utmost care is been taken to satisfy your taste buds .
Wish you all the best .

Mandawa, in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, is an offbeat location for travellers. And in this small Shekhawati region town, Mandawa Kothi stands apart giving and ideal glimpse of Havelis that are so common in Rajsthan. The property offers all the facilities that of a star category hotel.
The room sizes and their cleanliness are impeccable.

Curated, made to order homely foods supplemented the stay topped up by personalised attention of Piyush and Anurag. The feelgood factor was so overwhelming.

An evening was well spent with the owner Mr Rajendra Singh.

The memory of this stay on 18th & 19th Oct '21 will linger on!

Amidst the rich heritage of India, lies this beautiful Mandawa Kothi with the most hospitable staff. Giving you all the positive vibes with their gestures and keeping your comfort as their priority.

About the stay:
We had an amazing stay with the most comfy room, it was a spacious triple occupancy room with carved wooden bed and raw stone as the floor, the infrastructure kept the temperature low even though it was hot outside. The view from the terrace was breathtaking as it is one of the highest points in Mandawa, you can easily spot the fort and view the full extent of the district. The benefit is you get to watch a breathtaking sunset in a beautiful setting arranged by the hosts themselves.

The host/owner, Mr. Rajinder Ji was a brilliant storyteller who spent a wonderful evening discussing eventful narratives of the town. He made us feel like we own the place, he sees his guests as family. A special thanks to our co-hosts Mr. Piyush and Mr. Atul for their hospitality and their shared experiences.

Mandawa Kothi is a must stay!
