We entered the gates to this hotel and immediately it looked and felt tranquil. The beautiful palace in the background fronted by immaculate lawns and gardens gave it an air of timeless beauty. The villas were spacious, private and with the addition of our very own plunge pool which was set in our own courtyard. The interior was art nouveau...

Heritage hotel with mostly groups arriving and staying only one night. Overall very rural area. We enjoyed the property for two nights. We stayed in the newly build block - rooms are clean and well equipped. Only hot water supply was once a while an issue. Lack of WLAN would be an area to improve. Buffet and "a la carte"...

The USP of this place is Pool Villas and this is everything you can ask FOR. Amazing experience we had. Selected this place in a jiffy as it was a long weekend. But in the end it was worth the travel. Dhaulpur is a small district but if you want to explore something different along with relaxing in a good...

Haider Khan, New Delhi Jan 30, 2017 Had an amazing stay at Hotel Raj Niwas Palace. True to its name, everything about the hotel is truly regal. The beautiful green lawn with peacocks and peahens strutting around is a treat to the eyes. I stayed at the pool villa, which is perfect for a family stay. The villa is spacious...

We stopped for one night on our way to Agra. The hotel cannot be seen from the road and the small town of Dholpur is not where you would expect to find a Heritage Hotel. It is surrounded by a high wall and huge gates. On driving into the property you get a sense of grandeur from a bygone era....

The Raj Niwas is a former residence , but we were housed in delightful cottages in the grounds. The only problem was that we felt especially cold as the heating had not been turned on. The restaurant and public areas were charming, delicious food and attentive , friendly staff . This is a real taste of India, a little off...

very rarely do i get super impressed in a day..but the peacocks, the veg gardens, sprawling lawns, great food and above all the hospitality floored me. From the F&B, ravan hatta player, the guy who took us to chambal ravines, housekeeping and finally the GM Vikram Rathore, everyone did their best to ensure we had a fab stay. It speaks...

Approaching this hotel via a run down industrial estate or from a typically hectic indian trunk road was not too encouraging. Once the huge entrance gates were opened however you are in a different world. Large well maintained gardens with both peacocks and peahens abounding although we did not see it at its best as a heavy mist had settled...

We simply loved it all! Staying in this well maintained and managed property made us feel like princesses. The old palace does not only exhibit interesting design and architecture but also teaches about history. While some facilities are not of modern standard but deliberately left in their original state it offers a unique experience of the past. The newly designed...
