Overall amber enjoyed a niche for itself in the city of hoshiarpur. But now ITC Fortune coming up, the game is on.
Overall as of now, Amber is average hotel... The location is poor ( far away from city). The breakfast is a lot same each day and pathetic choice of sad songs that they play makes you leave the meal mid way. The rooms are spacious but lighting is so poor you can't work at your laptop in such a dingy lighting

Find one of the best hotel in the city. Nice decor, rooms are excellent, Food is good, specially Sagar Ratna !!!! Staff is very Courtiers and polite specially front desk. Over all experience was very good.

Everywhere clean, in the restaurant, and the reception was really helpful and great staff. Food is awesome! It was great 10 days! In nerby have a barber shop, the guys there don’t speak english, but they was very helpful. Great job.

staff doesn't have any ethics and respect towards their patrons. will never go back or recommend to anyone. if you guys can't manage your hotel should be close down. customer's spending money for services and you guys should provide services don't play blame game with each other. they all need good training.

The minute you walked into the place you could tell it was run down. They had no ac in the lobby making it super hot and the rooms was dirty. My room smelt very bad. We originally booked it for 4 nights but we decided to only stay a night and move to a better hotel. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel due to it being ran down

My sisters and I stayed at this hotel, we had a fantastic time. The staff were so accommodating and they even used to ring us to let us know to order before they close for the night. Rooms were clean, neat and tidy and staff were fantastic!

This is a new hotel built in Hoshiarpur by an existing amber hotel management. The building is not centrally airconditioned though rooms were fully airconditioned. The rooms have all sort of material needed during a stay including a tea/coffee maker. Though they claimed it to be a complimentary breakfast, there was no buffet and only you had to order itemwise to have your breakfast. It looked quite odd. The driver was asked to wait up to 10 am for breakfast at a latter place but with our insistence, he was given breakfast with us.

I visited Hoshiarpur for 2 days in November. The hotel was booked by my cousin so I was completely unaware about the services, location, etc.
I must say I wasn't disappointed in any of the areas. The hotel is located in a good enough area in terms of connectivity. They have enough parking space with and you can easliy accomodate atleast 40 cars in one go.
They also have Sagar Ratna with in the premises and that gives you options to try differet cuisine.
The rooms were very well maintained and so were the bathrooms and lobby areas. The room service was very quick and upto the mark. The extra mattresses and linen we needed were of good quality.
You can book this place without thinking twice.

Stayed previously in April only complaint then was the noise but otherwise excellent. However our stay in September was not so good. There were small ants practically everywhere in the room. We pointed this out to the manager and front desk. The room was sprayed with some insecticide but the ants kept coming back. Then we had a problem with the water in the bathroom.....it turned black! This was all noted by the front desk who told us that other guests had complained about this room and that they were aware of the problems and appeared quite sympathetic. They offered to change the room but we declined as we only had 2 more nights left. We found it quite disappointing that on our departure the manager and staff appeared quite distant, even a small gesture of reducing our payment for the problems we had encountered would have been acceptable considering we spent a considerable amount of money on eating in every day. We will be visiting Hoshiarpur in March 2017 and will have to re-think where we will be staying.
