This is one of the best places I have stayed in Hoshiarpur. I was tired from 30 hours of travel adn crashed into the bed with no problem. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really nice. Breakfast is included in the price. The Wifi worked everywhere I tried. It is close to the centretown and one can get public transport to wherever one wants to go in this small town.
I stayed here to visit my ancestral village and settle some ancestral land business. There is a reasonable restaurant across the street. I went out there to eat with local relatives. Dominoes ¨Pizza is in town to those of us inclined for comfort food.
I had to ask for a cleans sheet to go under the comforter. I guess Indian guests do not care for sheets under the comforter and continue to use the same oomforter.

Though the presidency hotel seems like the only good option to stay in hoshiarpur.... with a good exterior.. apt location etc etc. The hotel came as a big disappointment due to the following reasons :-
1. rooms are spacious though but it seems the upkeep of the rooms is left to god.
2. The confused receptionist called me 4 times just to confirm simple detaails given by me at the time of check in.
3. Washroom are not up to the mark at all.
4. lack of staff.... post checkout it seemed that i am left on my own.... for 20 mins no one came to take my luggage to the car and finally had to do it myself.

Hoshiarpur is a small town in a State of Punjab in India. Punjab is known for its cultural heritage and you will feel the same in Hoshiarpur. Hotel Presidency is situated quite close to the Inter State Bus Terminal of Hohiarpur. Hoshiarpur (as it is a small town) is not connected well with Railways, therefore the only mode of Transport to Travel there is by Bus.
My stay in the hotel was OK, internet connectivity was not that good which created a bit of problem. Cleanliness was fine. Safety wise this Hotel is very good.
Though Service is a quite slow but quality of Food is awesome.
All in all I would say I was not expecting such kind of Hotel in Hoshiarpur.
I would consider my stay to be Average.

I stayed in this hotel on the night of 15 Jan, 2015. At the time of check-in, their Reception Person namely Sandeep Sharma behaved in a very careless manner, any how when i Checked in, I was given room no. 102 of this hotel There was hardly any thing in working order. TV was without remote & when i asked housekeeping staff they were of no use. In dinner I ordered two kinds of Veg. Dishes, but i was surprised when they served same thing in two bowls...... terrible. Anyhow, I was offered complimentary Breakfast (on payment) which is to be given at 7.30 am to 9.30 am. But till 8.30am they were not able to provde anything.
It was my worst-ever experience in a Hotel. Won’t try this next time...

It was a offical Trip to Hoshiarpur . Hotel from the Outlook seems to be good but the Services and other aspects are very bad. Whole night Electricity was problem. Back up was not there . Rooms Cooling was not Working the whole night. Food was ok.

Good place to stay in small town, affordable and decent rooms, furnishings are too much in rooms, and are not maintained regularly... curtains etc. parking facility is good .. bus stand is nearby staff is good

Presidency is a lovely hotel by all aspects nd whole group is gorgious the service provided is a class and hotel is situated at enterence of attraction. Mainly banquets are of gloriuos standards. This hotel gives me lot of memories reminding my all parties held there with all friends family and a lot.

On our way from chandigarh to amritar we managed to stay for a night inorder to avoid night driving
The hotel lights were glitttering and thats what we got struck with
without doing much search we took a room with 30 years old furniture,the toilet smelling bad,coackroChes moving around and stincking carpets was what we could get
we did not even took a shower at the hotel
would not recommmend it go anyone

Best hotel to stay in Hoshiarpur. I really love the restaurant area there. Also, I like the decor.
The halls underneath are well maintained for parties. Excellent rooms. Wonderful staff.
