Really admire the hotel cedar as well the managerial people like Tia and Rusi. Clean rooms, well furnished, good behavior of the staff, good food, very economical too, compared to Acacia Cedar is the best.
I am a business traveller and always on the move. My train reached Dimapur at 2AM. I bookedg hotel ar about 8PM in the evening before. There was no one at the front desk and upon calling out two gentlemen appeared with mobile in their hand plainf PUBG or something. It appeared I was an unwanted guest. They told me there was no room available. I told them I had a booking and the gentleman asked me when I had done my booking. I told him irrespective of my booking time he should check his records. He checked and told me there were none. I showed him my mobile ticket and he kept asking me when the booking was done in a rather agitated tone. I told him he could deny my booking done at MakeMyTrip. He kept playing the game on his mobile and checked out another party too in the meantime, keeping me waiting. He was as so agitated at one point of time that he ran towards me to hit me when the other guy stopped him. They finally gave me a lower caegory room even though I had booked for DeluX king AC. The room number was 111. I was too tired to protest. I checked out in the morning at 9 AM. I returned @6PM in the evening from work as I had left my baggage at hotel for safe keeping. The lady at the front desk was very helping. I told her to give me the pending checkout note and mention the room no.111. The lady told me that the mail from MMT regarding my booking was there since 830PM.She gave me roomno.116 for 4 hours since my train back to Guwahati was at 11PM. I had a horrible experience. I won't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. May be you get lucky. The bed in 111 were lumpy and unsleepable. 116 was better however. You see there's a police station just opposite to the hotel. I could have comlained for being threatened but it would have ruined my night and the next day too. There was no drinking water or a kettle or water jug in my room. Poor service. In room dinner of burnt rotis served in roo- 116.…
One of the average hotel and nearer to the Railway Station . Easy to locate even for first time travellers. Prices vary with the facilities in the room. Complementary breakfast but only limited items.
Ideal place for small conferences. Spacious and good location. My friends from outside the State enjoyed too. Train Station is just about 5 minutes walking distance. Shopping centres are just around the corners.
