For a national conference we hired several hotels for the delegates from all over the country. So Hotel Saramati was one of them. Very good location ...Near the Railway station and near Super Market. Has ample parking place. Government owned.
This hotel looked nice from the outside but was very poorly maintained! The windows don’t seal letting in freezing air, dust, smoke, mosquitos and even a small lizard. We woke up in the night coughing up dust the rooms needed a good clean! At different times when we asked for towels, an extra blanket or even toilet paper they ignored us. The hot water system in 3 different rooms was hot for 10-20 seconds then freezing. Would not recommend this hotel there are nicer places in Dimapur.
This hotel was spoken about very positively by the locals but it disappointed in many ways. The rooms were very ordinary. Water barely hot. If you asked for towels or toilet paper the people weren’t happy. The windows didn’t close properly so the smoke from outside filled our rooms. Fortunately when we left for a couple of day visit to Kaziringa on our return they gave our room away so we moved to a little guest house that was way better.
This is one of the better hotels in the city... Good place...Nice and clean.. moderately priced with good food... Nice location in the city... Pretty much ticks all the boxes... Should definitely be high on your list if available...
Old style hotel in Dimapur Caring staff, it is a basic hotel and not luxury so amenities are good keeping in mind it not being a business hotel. Staff is helpful Rooms big and neat and clean, bathroom neat and clean Food is good, they take extra care to prepare food of your choice even if not in Menu Would recommend this hotel if not looking at modern business hotel Overall very good experience in this part of country
