Detailed Reviews
Amazing property. We booked 2 rooms. The rooms and washrooms are super clean. There is nice sit out area with each and every cottage. 5 min walk from Beach.
There is scope of improvement in Food quality though. But you can get some good eateries nearby who serves authentic konkan fish thalis.
Its a well maintained property with car parking right next to your cottage. They have lovely nature view with beautiful flowers. Sufficient place to play around for kids. It was a wonderful stay. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

We had not booked in advance as we had bene intending to visit Harihareshwar first and later on decide whether to stay there or to move to Shrivardhan. Hotels and resorts in hairhareshwar are all very rudimentary, so the family decided to try our luck in Shrivardhan. We spent quite some time looking at a lot of hotels/homestays and resorts in Shrivardhan but surprisingly found all of them to be lacking a couple of important things - 1) No ventinlation in the bathroom and 2) No netting on the windows. So you inadvertently ould need AC in the night, as there would be no option of keeping the windows open for risk of having mosquitoes hop in! We had kind of given up on finding anything sensible when we finally chanced upon the Imperial resort.
The resort is new (about a year old) and is a small (some would say boutique) property - 4-5 housing ground floor units in sets of 2 with intervening space used for parking your car. Rooms are spacious, with bathrooms clean and of good quality, stocked with the usual towels and shower gel. Most importantly, the hall windows have a mosquito net and thus can be opened to let in fresh air, while the bathrooms also have a window and an exhaust fan - excellent ventiltion.
The overall ambience is tasteful with multicoloured bougainvillea facing all the rooms. There is also a sitout with chairs and a table for each room, where you can have food/drinks.
The staff is very cordial and try their best to help out with your requests if possible. (We requested an Anniversary cake at around 9 pm in the night which they got for us!)
The room prices were very reasonable, in line with the facilities offered and included breakfast. The beach is not far away, just walk along the path behind the resort, cut across the meadow behind and join the road abutting it. About 200 metres further on and to the left, a path takes you to the beach. The beach is fantastic and goes on endlessly in both directions... wonderful for a run!
Another positive point I would like tomake here is that the manager/owner Mr. Qazi, allowed us to stay a couple of hours longer than the checkout time at our request (and also luckily because there wasn't a booking till then)
While I have rated it as 5 stars because it was the best option in Shrivardhan and worked perfectly for us, there are a couple of points for improvement.
1. One of the 2 rooms we had did not have a funcitoning AC. Luckily the nights were cool so anyway we did not really need to turn it on. We only found out that the AC was not functional, the next day, so I would recommend guests to check whether the AC is functioning at time of check in, so it can get rectified. Likewise for the TV in one of the rooms. The remote for TATA Sky in one of the rooms was not functional but we weren't really bothered as we do not really watch much TV except news or sports.
2. The dinner was passable. They should work on improving the fare, quality and choice. The fish was on the expensive side.

a new resort but very promising. it's clean and quite decent rooms and interiors. the staff and owner are very cordial and guided us well. food, breakfast is quite good but needs improvement. But you get classy modaks in breakfast which is a steal deal... location wise quite apt and accessible to the beach in a minute. would love to book it again.
