A pleasant, quiet place among coconut and arecanut plantations; large comfortable rooms; red blooms of firecracker bushes with flitting sunbirds; relaxing cane chairs; tasty local food - not to miss the stuffed capsicum ,stuffed egg-plant and delicate delicious steamed modaks; warm homely breakfast of pohe and tea; ( all available at request) . The place is a pleasant walk from the beach ( the beach itself being huge and surprisingly very clean and well maintained!). Admire the progress after the recent Nisarga hurricane devastation. Happy with the attention.

Very pathetic service.....very worst experience for one night...Ac not working, what water is not available throughout day. It's available in morning 7 to 9. Ucant eat outside food even in your room. Owner lady is not cooperative. Towel and soap is also not in room. In bathroom and in room also there is no hanger to keep your cloths. Tv is not working first 4 hours. Owner is not talking very rudly. rice plate for one is Rs 200/- in cities like mumbai pune we found such rates in big hotels. You have to give order 5.30 pm then and only then your order will be confirmed.

The hotel pinakin is the perfect hotel for those who want the comfort and convince too the great staff for room service and great food too vegetarians don't worry beacause there are separate cooking tops and non vegetarians you also don't have to worry beacause the food is great .

Looks good from outside . Arrogant owner, they will never let there word down.No basic amenities . No cleanliness, basic requirements missing for ex. No place to keep cloths, no small tables in room to keep your small things, staff insufficient, except food everything is worst.

This was a sudden decision to go to the beach town of diveager. So went wihtout any prior hotel reservations. Reached late in the evening and checked into the Hotel Pinakin. Very bad experience there, the AC room was charged at Rs 2500/-, it was actually not even worth 1500. Used pillows, not hot water, very small room. No arrangement for proper food. Overall a pathetic stay. Now talking about Diveager. The beach itself is untouched and still natural. No commercialization has seemed to affect this beautiful beach. You can take your own vehicle to the beach itself and have a lovely drive. Not much crowded, you can even set your own camp to enjoy the sea. Overall a good place to enjoy your day.

I have visited many place near beach, but this Pinakin resort is not actual resort, it is something like dharamshala type. If you order food, quality wise bad and tea or Poha is too much rate and taste is worst. Bad experience during booking and payment, very ruddy resort owner. Rooms are not cleaned. totally messy

Can we have a zero star rating ? The owners- an elderly couple who were blatantly rude and the most stingy people we ever met. They wont even give you a good breakfast after paying so much.The quantity is so less that wont be enough even for a 5 year old. They have no basic etiquettes or customer service or politness, they will speak only in Marathi (inspite of knowing Hindi) . We were staying with a two year old, the lady over there refused to give a glass of milk to the kid inspite of us being ready to pay any amount . Please DO NOT STAY here!

I visited diveagar on Jan 2016 first week with my wife. We stayed here for 2 nights. As per my overall experience I can say this Hotel is an average hotel with basic amenities but much scope for improvement, Improvements needed: 1) They should provide much better service to their customers, needed more attentive staff. There was only 1 person to attend all the requests. We always used to go out of our room and used to see if anybody is there to resolve our request. They have provided alarm button in the room to call the staff but it does not work. They should at least keep a phone so that we can contact the staff easily if anything is needed. 2) Better FOOD We don't have much options in the breakfast. We got only upma and tea (we had only breakfast included in our package) but we had to pay extra for omlete bread. Usually many hotels provides much more options. 3) Entertainment. They should provide some games like carrom, badminton etc so that we can enjoy the stay in hotel. 4) Improve bed quality. The bed is so hard that you almost fee like you are sleeping on the floor. Good Things: 1) This hotel has a nice little ambiance. 2) Just 5 Min walking distance from the beach which is the plus point of this hotel. 3) This is good budget hotel. So, Pinakin will be the best place to stay if they worked on these improvements.…

I am a frequent traveller and keep travelling throughout India and stay at various hotels and resorts, however the stay at Hotel Pinnakin was the worst ever, I am surprised how major Holiday Websites are even recommending this hotel or they have them on their website. The room which I stayed, had a bathroom with a broken panel, which was not mended till we left after two days, nor the latch to the bathroom was working, we somehow had to adjust, there is not staff, except a guy who runs errands for everything and everyone and few daily wages girls doing the cleanup for name sake, there was a so called bell to call someone in case of any needs but the bell did not seem to be working or may be it worked but there was no one to listen to it, no water was provided, I had to run behind the only guy available to request him to get drinking water which he did in hours. The remote to the TV was missing, in my two days of stay, it only next day evening I got the remote after requesting the guy for two whole days, other then this guy the owners, a couple were seen only collecting money and throwing out people out of their rooms at the stipulated check out time of 10.00 am EXTREAMLY UNPROFESSIONALLY.…
