A very peaceful valley, also referred to as Mini Kashmir of the west, is a rustic hamlet with a magnificent lake - Shivsagar. Tapola is at the end of the road and practically a dead end! Its around 25Km from Mahabaleshwar, for nature lover's its a must visit place.

Comfortable cottage tents with attached baths. Coolers in the tent. But coolers not needed. It was quite cold at night and in the morning. Hot water available in the morning for bathing. Tents overlook the river. Small pathways take you to the river bank from your tent, That feels very nice. Great river view from every tent. They have overall...

The location of this resort is amazing..on the bank of the lake. An offbeat place about 25 kms from Mahabaleshwar. Food is not that good. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Kayaking is something that one should not miss.

Living in a tent is an experience of its own and expectation has to be lowered vis-a-vis typical hotels. Contrary to typical thinking... each tent can easily accommodate 8-10 adults, bathrooms are quite clean and surrounding is simply breath-taking. Food is homely and...
