Saguna Baug hotel is lauded for its tranquil, secluded location that enhances the agro-tourism experience, with guests frequently commending the warm service and a plethora of activities like river swimming and animal interactions. The spacious rooms, noted for their cleanliness and natural integration, are a hit, despite some minor window gap issues. While most guests find the value satisfactory, with the cultural ambiance and eco-conscious practices adding to the experience, others feel certain aspects are somewhat overpriced.

The overall experience at Saguna Baug was amazing, it is worth the money. The food was also delicious during our stay, do not expect much variety of cuisine as they make proper Maharashtrian style food and it is delicious. The rooms and rest of the premises are very well maintained, clean and tidy. During the rainy season do not expect clean water in the washroom. as they use the pond water for washrooms only. There are a lot of free & paid activities, however, paid activities are at a very nominal cost and affordable. All staff members are very helpful and kind to all the guests. Keep up the good work!

Suggestion:
- Please try to give extra check out time as it becomes difficult to manage time for 06 people to use only 01 bathroom since we had to check out at 09 AM sharp we all had to wake up early and it took way longer to get ready as there was only one bathroom. People come there for relaxation and we expect to get extra sleep in a wonderful environment.
- Please upload good pictures of a row house and its rooms, as the pictures for row houses are not at all appealing on your website.

Visited this wonderful place on 26 Dec. We were greeted nicely. Temperature and oxygen level was checked at the beginning. The sanitization of all vechiles was done. The day trip of this agro tourist place begins with a wonderful and delicious breakfast and tea. Soon after Jonty who was tour guide of this place took us around, gave the detail information about the place, the farming procedure and about all activities. You can do flying fox, cycling, shooting/archery and many more paid activities at very nominal cost. The information/knowledge you get during the entire stay or trip makes you feel happy. The staff is very generous. Lunch was very tasty. Mr Shekhar Bhadsavale (the owner) and his son Chandan dada has kept the standard and maintained Saguna baug very well. A must visit place.

Saguna bagh is extremely overpriced. They have preserved nature, no doubt but the overall activities and food everything is overcharged. Food is extremely bad, it's too much basic and 300-400rs are only charged for lunch. The lunch is always the same, cauliflower, palak paneer, corn(visit saguna bagh anytime of the year you ll get the same food), tasteless and poor quality, even they can't serve a good quality rice or good quality wheat flour rotis. And please dont go for their nonveg food, they serve you the river water fish which is absolutely tasteless, total waste of money.we had been their in the morning and till evening 4pm we had no attendant, then by 4pm i went and asked the incharge, are we here just to sit under the trees, what are the charges being taken for? Then they gave us one attendant who showed us the things their. Washrooms are not that clean, even people don't flush properly, it's all wet and the rims of the pot so untidy, so please carry your own tissue in your bag and a santizer spray, because they don't provide anything. Then their is no source for any snack item and they don't provide any eatables except the pani vala ko kam sherbat, the worst quality lunch and the pani vala tea, coffee. So carry your own snack items if you are taking kids along. Overall our experience at saguna bagh was not that great. It feels good being close to nature but an absolute disappointment over food and overtly charged activities as well as the entry fee charges per person, the trip is not worth the amount you pay. The products they are selling their calling them organic are again highly priced, double the market value. So we are not happy with our trip to saguna bagh.

It was a perfect weekend break for our group of friends. It was our first outing and all of us were very happy, delighted and surprised by the services & the rooms.

Excellent ambience, cleanliness, hygiene and cooperative staff.

It was really a nice experience staying in a Premium Pond rooms. Very tidy, lavish & clean rooms, staff is very cooperative. The food served is simply delicious and the way they serve it, worth experiencing it. Great place for family, friends and children. They have taken care of small small detailing. During the total tour of the farm, there are water dispensers placed at short distances.. The animals there are very friendly. There are variety of activities offered and that too at cheaper rates.

Superb place for family get together and groups. It was a total paisa vasool trip for us. Well done team Saguna 👍🏻 Will visit shortly in winter season with our families

I am a regular visitor to Saguna Baugh since Seven years. And the relationship has grown from commercial to social. It feels like I have a second home where my extended family is always happy to receive me alongwith my family. The owners as well as the staff of the resort are so cordial, loving and kind hearted. They don't make you feel like a customer but they host you with open arms. The location is picturesque, the food is awesome and the best part is you can chill with your family and specially kids without any fear of untoward incidents. That's why I feel that it's not Saguna Baugh....it's Sauguna Baugh!

Hi, this is Steven Menezes. I had booked a room with full day activities and overnight cottage stay for my wife and son at Saguna Baug in May / June 2020, since I was not in India. The rooms are neat and clean. Basically, it's an agro-tourism and an ideal location for nature & animals lovers nestled beautifully amidst nature itself in Neral near Matheran. The staff are polite, courteous, helpful and well-disciplined. It has a farm with innovative organic farming methods, ostriches, emus and outdoor activities like buffalo ride in the river, fishing, horse ride, camel ride, bullock cart ride. Cooked food mainly contains organic stuff grown in their own farms and served fresh. My wife and son were thrilled to gain such a never before experience away from the city hustles and reconnect with nature. Overall, it's value for money.

It's a getaway you don't want to miss.

If you are expecting some five / three star resort / hotel luxury service, then please move ahead and look for something else. But if you want to experience nature the way it is, honest hospitality, love, comfort, please consider visiting Saguna Baug, especially their newly built premium pond house.

Trust me, you will not want to return.

The thoughtful construction of the pond house, it's soothing interiors, the calming pond and the exquisite sounds of nature, enthrall you.

With the relaxing stay, you also get to sweat out in a slew of activities meant to keep you physically engaged and several entertaining activities too.

The honest, courteous and flawless hospitality extended by the staff, who are actually the locals, is truly heartwarming. Nakul, Sanket, Bhushan, all are extremely warm and they will see to it that you don't face any discomfort.

The food served in the Premium Pond house was simple, regional and satisfying. I was neither expecting restaurant style food nor wished. Was content. Though the food served in the common serving area needs improvement.

I would like to see more of flower gardens alongwith the kitchen gardens and agro beds.

We had heard about Saguna baug for a while, and having tried some of their produce (which they sell at the location, as well as online) we just had to make a trip soon. Covid years put a pause in our plans, but finally the visit happened yesterday! We were lucky that we got the premium pond houses, which offer some breathtaking views and make for a scenic bit of relaxation. The cost is per head, and it includes some of their activity packages such as paddle boating, rod fishing, cow milking (yes that too) and there are lots more that one can pay for and avail at an extra nominal cost. The food is included in the stay, 3 meals as well as a cup of evening tea. The pond houses have food served indoors itself. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the pond watching the ducks and geese swim by is just blissful, add to it a nice cup of tea and your meals. Meals are vegetarian and non veg additions come at a cost. The food btw is terrific, albeit a bit too spicy at times...but we enjoyed it! The staff is very helpful and would help show you around the place. They assign a 'guide' to you who takes care of your stay and your experience. The drive to the location was good too...barring a few rough patches especially the last 2 kms. We experienced this in the monsoons and i feel that it adds to the experience and beauty (if you dont mind the muddy sludge at places). Don't miss the emus and ostriches prancing around too! We even tried the bullock cart ride, horse cart, ziplining, archery and so much more. Do visit Saguna Baug!
