After taking Darshan of Ganpati at Pali Balareshwar and Siddhivinayak at Nandgaon we checked in Golden Swan beach resort. Golden Swan beach resort a very nice place to to stay specially if you are Lucky to get resort facing room. We unfortunately didn't get. Front desk staff Priya Trupti Rohan very helpful. Breakfast Food was very good and Rajendra who attended our table was very efficient. Unfortunately the Beach was very Dirty full of oil slick and muddy beach. Walk on beach was not at all enjoying. We took Horse Buggy to explore the sight. Patil khanawal suggested by friends and staff at resort was a Disappointing experience. Fried fish 🐟 a Deep fried was awful. Prawns masala was ok but not certainly a place for visit again. We were suggested by Priya to visit again later in the month of October November to enjoy the Beach. We are planning but not sure we will visit again. On return journey we visited Mahad Ashtavinayak mandir to complete our Devotional trip of two days before monsoon as it's unwise to travel long distance during monsoon season. Nitin Raje…
Very poorly maintained room given to us by resort. AC working improperly. Comode was leaking, one light was not working.noisy fan. Did not provide doormat. Partiality faced in hospitality. Don't book ever.
We had been for a office meeting during October, 2021. The hospitality arrangements were very well taken care of. Ms.Shubhangi had been courteous and helpful right from the booking of the venue to the end. The meeting room and the AV arrangements were good. Thanks to entire team. Thanks & best wishes!
We went here as a group for office picnic. The resort's usp is that it is right next to the beach. You can go to the beach directly from the resort. It is also probably the best resort at Murud. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but one can see the lack of maintenance over the past 2 years. Food is excellent including the choices for breakfast. The staff are polite and courteous and service is good. There are quite a few activities for children such as indoor games, cycles etc. It is a nice place to spend the weekend.
What started out as an exciting birthday weekend in this so called 4 star resort, turned into a horrible experience with night mares that continue to this day. The entry to Golden Swan looks quite appealing but that is the end of it. The rooms are tiny and unchanged since the 80s. Once you sleep on the bed, you see that the fan is completely rusted, there are cobwebs on the ceiling and big red ants on the floor. You think that maybe this is because it is on the beach but the beach itself is super dirty. One splash on the beach and you get tar from oil on your feet that takes hours to remove. So you go to the restaurant, maybe the food will change the mood. Very fast you realize that the veg and non-veg curry are exactly the same and cooked badly. Defeated, you head to your room for a good nights sleep. In the middle of the night, you wake up with bed bug bites all over your body and sweat dripping from your face. Somehow you push through and inform the management next morning, only to be invalidated that they do pest control frequently. To get rid of you, they tell you that we will refund the amount. But that's it, gone is your hard earned Rs. 7000 and in return you have bites all over with a sleepless night.…
Whether it’s just for a day long stay or a long weekend, this reality has become our number one choice. We drive down from Pune in the morning and generally have our lunch here. The main attraction being the sunset at be beach followed by quite dinner in seat out outside the room. Very good location with a private beach, excellent food and excellent service are what make us want to go here again and again.
I would recommend this hotel to all who love outing by beach with family and friends. The view from the resort is quite exotic. There are few swans with whom children can play. Ample of parking. The rooms were clean and well maintained but very small. Two rooms are separated by one door which may be disturbing but that can be manageable. You will have access to beach within 2 minutes. And this beach will not have crowd. So, in COVID situation it is best thing. The cottage type room having gallery with table and chair, family can enjoy Lunch/dinner. As We were 4 people with my kid so having food there not possible. Also, they have not started there dine in area hence they have served us food at the free area which is at beach site. The place has mosquitoes so for kid do carry required things. (We were carrying mosquito net also) FOOD WAS AMAZING but not more options. They have not served the FISH which is bit disappointing. PURI BHAJI in breakfast was yummy. There are cycles which you can use to roam around. Who want to just relax can go there and enjoy the stay.…
We went to Murud with family for one day stay. After looking at multiple options we finally chose to stay at Golden Swan. Its a decent property compared to all others in that area. Rooms are spacious and more importantly have direct entry to beach. Though it calls for upkeep and maintenance. Seems due to ongoing crisis the property is not well maintained to its normal standard. Staff is polite and quick to action and resolve any issues. House keeping too was surprisingly well trained. We took a Cottage which had 2 combined double bed rooms. Inner lawn area is good with ample car parking. Rates are on higher side compared to quality and facilities. But, this is apt place to stay when with family. When in Murud if you looking for decent resort then this is the place ..highly recommended. Breakfast menu didnt have a wide spread but whatever was served was tasty and fresh. …
We visited this place from 25-29 Dec and had booked one cottage and one room. We got the back facing room due to availability, the main difference being it does not have a sitout. The room we had was quite large along with a bunk bed which was very convenient for 4 of us. All basics were in place (hot water, toliletries etc). The intercom and TV were not working on the first day. The food is OK, however gets very repetitive. Its sad that they dont have any local delicacies and we are stuck with Chinese and Punjabi. The breakfast is comparitively better, however on weekdays they dont have any south indian fare. So the options are limited. We went out for lunch on one day just because we got bored of the taste due to repetitions. Also the deserts are not good. The staff is very helpful and is always ready to help you. Also, the cottage can accomodate 2 couples and child however, my suggestion is to go for 2 rooms instead of a cottage. The cottage has only one bathroom and one TV but the price is exactly double that of a room. Overall a good place, fantastic location (right on the beach). The food can improve.…
The resort management (owner) is terrible. They sold us a 15 day package that was promised at a great discount. But the current price is the same for walk in guests. The resort is also very ill maintained though the service staff is good , the management policies have made this place run down and shabby. Terrible quality food and sub par experience.
