We stayed here for three nights while attending a friend's wedding in Hautmont. When we arrived we were rather dreading it as the hotel is in the middle of a shopping park in not the prettiest location. However the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable, with air con and a big TV (though only local channels). Breakfast was great, with a lot of choice. Everyone staying there for the wedding agreed it was excellent value for money and far better than anticipated. I would certainly stay here again if visiting the area

A real no frills experience, reception 24 hours, lots of contractors stay here. The room was OK but dated, with a noisy uncontrollable air conditioning system which stopped working during the night and sprang into life before we left - the unit has not been cleaned for years, it was filthy and full of dust. . It is set in a retail area out of town but we took advantage of looking around. Overall a reasonable quality sleep. Car parking is public parking opposite. Good for a one night stopover.

Three of us on a motorcycle tour stopped over for one night on 18th July 2017. The Maubeuge Louvroil is in a commercial sector and no frills should be expected. As such, there is no bar and a work's style canteen for breakfast. a fridge in reception holds several types of bottled beer and soft drinks. It serves a purpose. On the plus side, beds are very confortable and the showeres are large - unusual in this type of hotel. The air con is also very good. Parking for cars is a public car park outside the door. Staff are obliging and allowed us to park our motorbikes in a secure large disused store room.
A huge shopping centre is a few minute's walk away, and you'll find a nice restaurant there with self service and over the counter meals available. On our arrival, the receptionist was very helfpul and friendly. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the night porter when we went for breakfast. We had to insist on the breakfast shown in the photographs posted on the walls in reception. He at first tried to tell us that we were too late for the cooked breakfast. We had to point out the time and the photographs before he reluctantly agreed to make our breakfast. This, given the prelude, left us wondering what our food underwent before it arrived. In the end it was, frankly, almost inedible. The scrambled eggs were a mush of off-yellow substance and the bacon was strips of fatty meat in oil that he served in a single deep bowl. I'm an experienced traveller and acknowledge that eggs and bacon are not the same the world over, but this felt like an intentional effort to provide an awful meal. Hunger won the vote but, even then, we ate only half of it. We later stopped off for another breakfast en route.
I'm pushed to recommend the place, so will limit myself to saying it'll do as a stop over for groups, perhaps simply wanting somewhere to lay their head.

hello, We have already stayed at the bb hotel louvroil on several occasions, without problems (with Tony and Marine special mention for them) but this time disappointed, received room 234 just above the Fitness, in the evening given the loud music that was coming fitness we didn't know how to hear the TV in the room, and we don't know how to increase the volume of the TV, we went to reception to report the problem where I got the correct response "sorry I'm going to go see them ". 1/2 hour later we went to the drinks dispenser, pfff the guy (a tall blond) didn't have a look or the decency to ask if things were better which was not at all the case! We were about to leave the establishment even though we had paid the bill including breakfast, but after 11 p.m. it was too late. We are not the type to make comments but that! !we have already stayed in this hotel even during the renovation work and these from an acoustic point of view did not do much good plus the toilet seat was already broken and still there. plus a soap dispenser too.
on the positive side the rooms and the hotel are impeccably clean the comfortable bedding, the bar and the recent terrace are a plus for the hotel good value for money in the current situation we are looking for another establishment for our next regular outings in the region...hoping that this opinion will contribute to improving the future of the establishment
thank you

Easy sleep and go hotel. Surroundings unpleasant, industrial as usual. 24/7 receptionist, one very young and not very willing, one correct and friendly. Maintenance of rooms and overall building poorly. In need for a make-over. Breakfast sufficient.

Stayed in this B & B on 27th May 2017, arrived after a long ride from Bastogne in 30 degree heat. To find such a welcoming place with easy check in and most importantly air conditioning was a huge surprise.
The room was clean & tidy with a very comfortable bed and a clean shower.
I'll def be staying again at this chains hotels on next year's tour.

2 night break that actually turned into a 1 night break due to the bed being so uncomfortable , the cheapest thinnest mattress on a sheet of MDF - and only one pillow which was the size of a tea-bag. . asked receptionist for more but was told no.

Circumstances found me needing a room for a couple of nights in Maubeuge and was lucky to have taken the recommendation of a helpful person. The B & B is without doubt the quietest place I have experienced. It is very clean and the bed is comfortable. It will not meet the needs of those who desire something more luxurious, as it is austere having no decorations. But the basics it has and they are good. It is close to a large shopping mall with very good choices for eating.

Yes this is a cheap budget hotel with only vending machines for food and drink
However the room was huge and spotless and the service first class
There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by, so this was a great stop over
