Just returned from a mid week break at Kielder Lodges. We found the site very nice, well maintained and expertly and professionally run. We had 'Hadrian' lodge (14) which had 2 bedrooms, and although was described as basic was very well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and a DVD player. The views outside was spectacular. The lodges are very... More

my husband and I wanted a quiet break with lots of dog walks and this place lived up to our expectations. This is a lovely part of the world and the lodge was very warm and comfortable. The lodges are very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. Will definitely go back again!

We had an excellent long weekend for the Kielder swim and triathlon. We chose the Hareshaw Superior lodge which had an amazing outlook over the lake and forest - especially when viewed from the hot tub. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and tidy when we arrived. The lodges themselves are quite old but obviously well maintained apart from a... More

We wanted something different this year with lots of peace and quiet and no crowds, but still enough to do to keep the kids entertained. We got just that from our week at Kielder Lodges, the place itself is beautiful with great views and a lovely calm tranquil feel to it, however there are enough activities going on to keep... More

Stayed at Kielder in Northumberland in log cabin plus hot tub, it wasn't as good as we had been lead to believe yes it's a pretty place and the views are fantastic, but where we was the sky at night wasn't as dark as we hoped, whether it was the close proximity of the lodge next to us or the park... Grandma, Grandpa, Mum, Dad and two small people had a great holiday with something for everyone, including learning how to be a Musketeer! All staff were fantastic with the kids. The cabin was spotless on arrival and easy to tidy up when we left, and the on-site shop and pub/restaurant were fantastic with loads to choose from. Self catering is... More

Stayed at Leaplish Park. Great facilities, enjoyed an early morning swim each day. Great walking and cycling routes. The lodge was comfortable if a little tired, but very clean. On site shop provides basics at reasonable prices, but you will need to take all supplies to self cater. Did not eat at on site pub/bar but drinks inexpensive. Recommend Magicians... More

I visited here with my partner and our two dogs, we stayed in the Hadrian Superior with the hot tub. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect, peaceful and blissful break! The lodge was perfect with a double room, twin room, bathroom and kitchen living area, all perfectly good sizes with great amenities. There was nice clean bedding on... More
