The room itself was very clean and well furnished, though a couple of the fixtures and fittings were starting to come loose. I found the bed to be comfortable and the bathroom facilities were fine. Ordered breakfast for 8:30 in the morning, received a phonecall at 8:25 asking if I would be coming to collect my breakfast and when I...

Stayed here with my partner and two teenage kids. Room was lovely, huge bathroom with everything you need. We were greeted at reception and shown to our room. Really friendly. Had the continental breakfast which was fine.

My wife and I stopped here for accommodation while attending a family funeral in the local area. On the whole it was a pleasant experience - our room was clean, the staff were friendly and everything was in order. In many ways it reminded me of a Premier Inn - nothing outstanding or luxurious but just what we needed in...

This is one of my favourite places to stay when visiting Lydney. It's quiet, calm, peaceful, always spotlessly clean and great value for money. Decorated to a lovely standard and I always feel very comfortable and safe here. 5 stars all the way.

I stayed here for three nights in April. Parking is available on site however I travelled by train and the owner was kind enough to pick me up from the station which was just a five minute drive away. The room was clean, modern and the bed was comfortable. Close to bus stops, shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

We had three rooms here as part of a road trip with friends. Two twin rooms and one single. We were surprised on arrival that the single was not en suite - this was not clear at booking. The twin rooms (with doors opening onto the carpark like a traditional motel) were large and simply furnished, with small shower rooms....

I have stayed here with my wife about once a year for several years, but this was our first visit since change of management. On this occasion we did not avail ourselves of the in-house breakfast but ate further down the town, partly for a change and partly because we had read that you now have to collect your breakfast...

It is a simple motel, so don't expect the usual hotel services (bar, restaurant, etc.), however saying that, the room was large and modern, the bed seemed a bit on the hard side but turned out to be very comfy, it had a nice flat screen TV and a largish bathroom complete with shampoo, etc. It was very clean and...

I stayed here for 2 nights a few weeks ago with a friend in single rooms. It was not made clear there was a shared bathroom and the first night was fine - there was a wedding party. On the second night the other two rooms on our floor were occupied by people who 'live there' and had been moved...
