Royal park is located at very convenient place and easy approachable right on old Mumbai Pune highway or express way. Open spaces are neatly maintained with lot of greenery and very clean. This environment gives very peace feeling when came for relaxation. Best part I liked was the ROOMs, and mainly managers knows our wants how we liked the room, so he immediately provide tht kind of room. He is very good guy and very helpful in every manner Another great part was the breakfast and Food quality and ontime service. Food quality was really good.Parking space is also enough and safe. Overall hospitality and room quality was good and must recommend to others

The photos on the website do not match the actual room photos. The property manager, Kaustubh Mehta, is super rude. When asked to arrange the same room as in the photos he demanded additional money for an upgrade. This is nothing less than cheating. When reminded that this is bad service, he has the guys to say that he deals with customers like us every day. I am free to cancel my booking and go. Such callous and rude treatment of customers is appalling. NEVER going to stay in the property and I recommend everyone to avoid and search options elsewhere. Only stay at this property if you want to spoil your holiday.

To add a note here that before booking our stay at this place I had gone through almost all the travel sites to check the review about this hotel and in 95% cases I had observed people reviewed this hotel as bad to very bad; but I did a try and once the chose this hotel and reached and stayed there I came to know that recently in Dec 2018 the management of this hotel was changed to a new one and all those negative reviewes were related to previous management. Hence the stay this time in Jan 2019 was excellent and the recently changed management staffs were too good..overall it was a nice staying experience. the location, calmness, accessibility, amenities, politeness of the management staffs, parking space, cleanliness and the mountain view...wonderful staying at OYO Hotel Royal Park, Khandala booked through MakeMyTrip.…

I checked in to this hotel on July 13, 2018. Most hotels allow early check in if room is available. In this hotel they will not unless you pay extra. I had requested a pool facing room at time of booking and they had confirmed my request via email, but at check-in they had no pool facing rooms, but they had an excellent alternative; a room with window facing an adjacent property of ICICI bank whose pool we would be able to see. From one corner of Room 105 given to us we could get a glimpse with some portion of that swimming pool. Coming back to the swimming pool of Hotel Royal park; it's dirty, more so the kid's section. I didn't dare entering the pool for the fear of getting infected with disease. The room was stinking and the bed and pillow linen was unclean. Fortunately, I had carried my own bedsheets. The restaurant was in a very poor condition, but there are no eateries near this place so we had to do with it. There were lizards all around. Now the most pathetic part. My package was a breakfast included one. I had asked prior to check in if the breakfast was buffet or set menu. The answer I received was "Your request is approved". To a second mail clearly spelling out that I am enquiring about buffet breakfast or set menu, the reply was "we offer breakfast on weekdays as per menu card. Buffet breakfast as per room occupancy." Since there was no time left I went ahead with the payment. In the morning without any request, tea was provided to us in room. So I called up the restaurant to enquire why breakfast was not brought and asked him to bring bread butter and omelette which was promptly delivered. On checkout I got a rude shock when they charged me around INR 275 for the breakfast. When I told them my package is breakfast included, the reception guy told me that nonveg is not part of included breakfast and I need to pay up. It seems they haven't invested in caller ID phones and delivered me tea that somebody else had ordered. Thankfully it was only a 1 night stay. Room price was INR 3300 per night. Overall hotel infrastructure is good but Hotel staff does not know what is hygiene? Extra blanket given was very dirty, LID of dustbin was broken, table cloth of restaurant not washed for years. Charged INR 1000 for extra bed, receipt not issued, No managerial staff present at hotel, staff does not know the hospitality. Hotel and restaurant not wheel chair compliant (not suitable for old persons) Beds and bedding suitable for couples only, No seating furniture like chair or sofa in room, you have to sit bed only. Cleanliness is very poor, requires pest control. Staff behaviour was rude. Not at all cooperative. Restaurant had a menu card but items were limited. You have to eat what they cooked, then what is the need of keeping menu card. They were charging 10% service fee for delivering food in the room which no other hotel does.

We called and booked the room for 2 days and had paid 2000 in advance as requested by the hotel guy. When we checked in guy at the front desk wanted us to pay the rest of the amount in cash. When we had called before we had confirmed that they will take card payment also. We insisted on paying in card and he gave all possible reasons to avoid it like internet doesn't work and so on...still we insisted on paying through card and finally he told us to pay the taxes in cash and rest in card. We paid some amount in card and did not have cash handy to pay at that moment so told we will pay later. He insisted us to tell that we postponed the plan and did not check in to hotel as planned if we get any call from the guy whom we had called and booked...probably to put all cash we payed to his pocket...this guy at front desk was behind us all the time in hotel whenever we went out of our room asking for the remaining cash to be paid as if we will run away with his money and it was very irritating. Complimentary breakfast had only poori baaji and coffee/tea on 1st day and idli ,poha , coffee/tea on 2nd day so here don't go for cp plan.We had AC room but AC was very old and was nothing more than table fan. We had to switch on ceiling fan to avoid heat. Paste brush and soap provided in the hotel were used ones.
