the best thing about the place is that you can eat in peace and quite away from the traffic jams that are present in lonavala.. the food is average.. so do visit only if you are in need of a quick fix..

I have never stayed at Kamat. We always visit the restaurant, El Taj, whenever we visit Khandala or Lonavala. Since there is no mention of El Taj separately, I am writing my review here. El Taj, as mentioned, was a planned stop for lunch on our way to Karla. The moment I drove thru the gate, the view was a...

We visited d hotel last weekend. The area is spacious and clean. We stayed in duplex AC room at rs.6000 for 1 day. This room was worth the money as it was extremely clean and fresh. The restaurant is attached to the hotel. The food especially south indian dishes are very tasty. But the service is very slow at the...

One of the oldest hotels in Lonavala. Before the expressway was built, this place used to be crowded with tourists. Now with the expressway this place has lost all its customers. But it still is a wonderful place to visit. Food is reasonably priced also tastes good. Rooms are not that great cleanly and wornoff. strict renovation is required. Very...

I have stayed there for 1 night with family for a stop over on our way to Mahabaleshwar , The room offered was specious and really nice for our family of 2 + 3 . They have 2 restaurants , but the food served in restaurant was average. It could be a good property if they maintain it well. Value...

Had stayed 1 night at Kamats with family of 10 pax excluding children. Though the location and ambience is good, the staff seemed a bit aloof and we had to call them many times to get things done. The food was good.

A great place to have delicious dishes for pure vegetarians. Almost all the food be it Punjabi, South indian, Chinese and fast food, everything is just too good.No wonder that this hotel is always full of visitors on their way to Khandala and Lonavala because of the great food quality and prompt service.

Service was good and can be improved further. The quality of the food was ok. Over all it was nice to spent a night at that place. The furnishings and the cleanliness in the hotel room was also good. Good and nice vegetarian foods available and the service was ok type

There was serious traffic jam on the express way at 8pm On 13th oct,12 when we started by car from thane at 530pm to go to Pune which usually takes not more than 3 hours with one stop at food mall. We took unplanned halt when we saw kamat hotel on the diverted route by policemen as we had very...

“Please positively see the room before paying the room rent. It is not worth paying 3000/ night for an ac room which is in pathetic condition. everything you order, u need to settle then and there. Like order water pay 30 Rs ...order foor pay, order tea pay....and so on....keep small change handy....if you have credit card you are in for trouble!”
