I visited with my 8 family members, the accommodation was beautiful and well maintained with nice touch of tradition. Each room was provided with Mosquito nets for peaceful sleep. Walking distance from the heritage museum “prachin konkan” and accessible by autorickshaw to the ganpatipule beach. Staff is very friendly with amazing home cooked traditional food. Vegetarian, vegan friendly too. They provide diet friendly food(gluten free, dairy free, etc)

The Resort is very interior and 3-4 kms away from the beach. The Resort has a traditional feel with all modern amenities. The food is simple and nutritious. The restaurant has good variety of pickles prepared by the Bhide family at the resort and is their specialty. The ambiance is out of the world and takes you to a different era. Remarkable once in a lifetime experience. The staff is very co-operative and courteous.

If your accomodation/ambiance and food preferences are standered/ typical Maharashtrian or you would like to try those ,Kokan Nest is one of the most suitable places for you. Property is at peacefull location as its considerably away from hustle bustle of beach and temple area ; has ample parking ; is clean neat and tidy. If the most you need is peace/silence this is a perfect place. We received room service for tea and brakfast .Staff is friendly and cooprative. Backyard of the property and washrooms have scope for better design as well as maintainace.

I stopped here for a night on a 4 day road trip around the Konkan coast. The location is nice, surrounded by greenery and very quite and away from the crowds. We booked the Super Deluxe AC room and it was nice no complaints. The place has a rustic feel to it, with earthen materials used in the construction and bucket bath etc. Food is all veg and delicious veg. The staff is good too, I will return whenever I'm in the area again.

The property is lovely. Though the approach road is bad and there is bad network, it can be overlooked as part of a heritage stay. But unfortunately the lackadaisical approach of those running the hotel is what ruins the place. Soiled toilet seat with stains in the commode, torn and soiled towels, torn besheets, no WiFi, We had to ask for water and soap, which is otherwise provided proactively. No one is concerned to even look into the basics that is taken for granted even in the smallest of lodges. No one offered to help with luggage (which is a non-issue but deserves a mention). And insult to injury there was no water in the taps on the day we left until late. I usually don't review hotels but this place and its undeserved ratings called for it. I wouldn't have stayed if I hadn't paid the amount in advance. Save your money. Go elsewhere.…

Konkan nest is best place if you are looking to hide out from city stress and soul searching relaxation. You instantly connect with nature.Behind the farm flows clean and calm river,Walk around the local village, Nourish with vegan food which is authentic maharashtrian food and served with love.Lovely homely atmosphere.Yadnesh Bhide the owner of this place is very humble and caring. Makes you feel at home and his staff, Gopal and other attendants the village women who cook food are courteous polite and very good attendants.Everything that was served was superb.Their baingan cha bharit, sheera, aam ras,dal and ukhdi che modak is must must try. Earthly homes with beautiful wooden architecture the lushful greenery and peaceful serene surroundings with so many different birds chirping just makes it a Paradise.Everything is fresh natural and clean. We are refresed and waiting to visit again…

Stayed here 2 nights for work. In some cases office books you up so don't have an option. This place is dark and dingy. The room given to us was so dirty, it had cob webs everywhere on the walls even under beds. Bedsheets were dirty and smelly. Bathroom was equally messy. We found urine drops when we entered and cleaned ourself as there was no caretaker when we entered. It is nowhere like the images they have uploaded here.

This hotel gives you feeling of home where floor is made of cow dung (Gobar). If you want to experience such ambience then must visit. Rest you will get carom to play inside, food quality was good. Only draw back we felt was generator noise during night only for back side rooms because generator fitted at back yard. Travel Tip: If you are planning to go from Pune by own vehicle via google map then avoid it use Ratnagiri road->arey ware beach road. You will enjoy sceneric beach road view while driving to your left side.

We had a family trip to Ganpatipule in November 2016 for 3 days. The location of the nest is truly worth the name. Nestled in a farm with rustic looks, antique ambience, local cuisine for meals, a small stream running from the backyard, this is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate from the madding city life. The beach is wonderful and great to plunge into... The tourist destinations around the place are worth visiting. Also, there are many virgin beaches around the area which are a treat to the body and mind. A must explore place...
