I visited with my 8 family members, the accommodation was beautiful and well maintained with nice touch of tradition. Each room was provided with Mosquito nets for peaceful sleep. Walking distance from the heritage museum “prachin konkan” and accessible by autorickshaw to the ganpatipule beach. Staff is very friendly with amazing home cooked traditional food. Vegetarian, vegan friendly too. They provide diet friendly food(gluten free, dairy free, etc)

Set in the middle of orchards at ganapatipule this is a bit off the main road and hence peaceful. At.first.glance a heritage property built like an old wada or haveli it's actually constructed in 2009 but the attention to.detail is so.mucy that Nome.can make that out.
Rooms are comfortable with each having a sitout with a traditional jhoola and can accommodate three adults easily. The food is good but the staff do get flustered when large groups descend. This is however made up by the personalised attention of the owners.
The honesty and sincerity of the owners is paralleled and a wallet which was left behind was found three days after we checked out and couriered back to us with the money intact.Ms Mahajan personally supervised the search till it was found.
I want to to.come back again

One of our best monsoon trips ever. It was spent in the perfect settings of Konkan Nest, Ganpatipule. They promote themselves as heritage resort. We found their site konkannest.com very informative and took a decision to visit the resort by going through it.
We stayed in Wada dalan 2 and felt like we were living in a mansion. Food is good. I am sure you guys will be the most popular resort in Ganpatipule soon.

Location is good, but this property lacks in proper amenities, you have to call for every small things, for drinking water, for food, for hot water no tv service.
No room service, you have to communicate every small thing with them. Not recommended for leisure trip, beach is not on the close accessibility.no clean blankets used and worned out, no clean towels etc overall not a resort it’s like a homestay. There is no peoper coordination in booking team.
Think twice before booking

I booked this hotel based on the reviews from Tripadvisor, initially I wanted to book MTDC but was full due to holiday season. Then I settled with Konkan Nest based on my research on trip advisor. Hotel was booked after availability confirmation from hotel owner. I received a confirmation message once money was transferred by owner. This is old style Konkani style house, with flooring of cow dug, rooms were clean, and beading was clean. We had our dinner and breakfast here food quality was typical Konkani veg style food. Supporting staff was also very supportive and helpful.
I would recommend this hotel to people who want to have a relax stay at Ganpatipule away from crowd.

Hi Guys,

I had visited Konkan Nest last week for few days with my Family, I had booked Dalan1 and Dalan 2 both. I was shock seeing Blood stains on Beds and very poor services. The only thing good about Hotel was its food. His manger is also rude and arrogant in talking. There were no handles and latches in bathroom. All the napkins and towels was used one (Not even washed). Many hidden charges also were incurred.

Myself and my family spent four days(11-14 May 2014) in this resort. We enjoyed lot like its natural environment, Prachin Konkan life style and food. It is equivalent to a Farm house in old Konkan style. Hotel services are very good. Nice place to spent holidays. Place of total relaxation..

This property is really nice. I spent one night here. Service was too good. Food was delicious. Staff is co-operative. Initially I was worried about the service because when we see hertiage kind of hotels service is little bit delayed but my experience was amazing. If your going to Ratnagiri or Ganpatipule plan to spend 1 day here ........

The property is lovely. Though the approach road is bad and there is bad network, it can be overlooked as part of a heritage stay. But unfortunately the lackadaisical approach of those running the hotel is what ruins the place.

Soiled toilet seat with stains in the commode, torn and soiled towels, torn besheets, no WiFi, We had to ask for water and soap, which is otherwise provided proactively. No one is concerned to even look into the basics that is taken for granted even in the smallest of lodges. No one offered to help with luggage (which is a non-issue but deserves a mention).
And insult to injury there was no water in the taps on the day we left until late.

I usually don't review hotels but this place and its undeserved ratings called for it.
I wouldn't have stayed if I hadn't paid the amount in advance. Save your money. Go elsewhere.
