The hostel was clean, modern, equipped with elevators and had a good breakfast spread and a fun bar(drinks and fun activities - pool table, foos ball etc). The guest kitchen was decent too. The hostel is pretty big and that for me can be a minus sometimes as it lacks a cosy feeling. I was in a 6 bed shared...

Location is great. Train station is within 8 mins walk and many pubs and restaurants near by. My two nights stay were fine. Had a great time meeting new people in the dorm. There's also a cafe in front of the hotel which is convenient to grab a drinks and snacks.

Perfect situation next to the canal. Short walk from Brussels city centre. Parking outside of hostel/ hotel. We stayed in a 10 bed dorm and it was genuinely the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. Super comfy beds. Clean floor. Ample storage. Lots of floor space which is unusual in a hostel. Knowledge reception staff. Lovely powerful shoer. Clean everywhere....

I found this place on Hostel world. It called itself a hotel, but as it was on there and with its description of itself I thought it would have a hostel feel. It certainly did not, it was a cold soulless hotel. I resent paying more than I usually would, the pictures make it look awesome. In reality it's boring....

Decent sized room, quiet and with comfy bed. Could have done with thicker sheets but that's it. The staff are really helpful and gave great tips on where to go etc. Great for youths and backpackers looking for somewhere clean, comfy and decent value for money.

We had a great time staying at Meininger Brussels. We stayed in a 10 person dorm room and met the most amazing people that we went out to dinner with that night. The room was very clean and spacious and the addition of an ensuite bathroom was a welcomed amenity. The hostel itself is huge, with plenty of spaces to...

The Meininger hostel is the best bet for backpackers when visiting Brussels . The bar , the kitchen everything is awesome. The dorms are large and beds are comfy. The city centre is a 10 min walk away and easily accessible .not very far from the main bus station. There are many recreational activities as well like foosball, pool,TT, PlayStation etc..

Stayed in the Meininger hotel Brussels for two nights and we stayed in a private 4 bed room. Room was a good size with a bunk bed and double bed. Bathroom facilities were also good with separate rooms for shower and toilet. The only issue we had with the room was that it was too warm and you cannot control...

The room was spacious and clean, but the windows don't open so the heat and stuffiness of the room became unbearable pretty quickly. The bottom bunk matress wasn't comfortable at all. Great location, easily within walking distance of the trendiest part of Brussels and near tram and underground stops for further travel. Staff were friendly and knowledgable of the local area.

Stayed for 5 nights in August 2016 as part of a northern European trip with children (aged 15, 11 and 5). The hotel has both shared and private rooms (we had a private room for six with one double and two sets of bunks). Set on the edge of town, so a little way from the train station bit meant...
