I visited the Pepper restaurant with my family which is inside Akash Inn hotel, Shimoga. I was so delighted the way the service done and the taste of food ordered especially tandoori sheek kebab was so delicious. I do visit the restaurant once again with my friends.

Shimoga being a fast developing city and home town of karnataka CM has a lot tourist attraction too If you stay in shimoga you visit lot of near by places. Next to royal orchid i would recommend this hotel which has small but neat rooms , Lobby , parking and well organised team headed by praveen and vijeth All the staff are very coureous and even has in house restaurant / and roof top restaurant Overall a recommended hotel to stay and everything is within walkable Range

Well located at Shimoga. Good rooms and clean bathrooms with toiletries. The wifi was good and the check in was smooth as was the check out. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The food was good especially rooftop restaurant. But the cost of food is little higher side. Parking space is limited to 5/6 cars though . Overall good stay for family. We booked two rooms and they have provided interconnected two rooms which is nice.

We stayed here for 1 N while on a road trip to Gokarna. We stayed in a suite room which was spacious and very good. Service appeared to be okay, but we didn't stay long enough to experience too much of it. housekeeping was not at its best as the bedroom was not clean and the bedsheets too weren't very clean. But however this was attended to promptly when I had complained. The location was central to all other places. Autos are easily available if you want to take one to visit places in Shimoga. As such a decent hotel in the city center

This hotel has clean rooms and bathrooms and located in the city.. The food options for room service are quite good for dinner, haven't tried their breakfast though.. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance from this place if someone wants to explore the locality.. The staff is helpful but they can certainly work on being more cheerful :) Overall, a good place to stay! Cheers, Shruthi

I stayed here for two nights with family. Visited Shimoga for a family function and this place was walking distance from the venue. The rooms are average size. The bathrooms are clean. Had booked the place through a travel website. They did not provide breakfast as part of the package. Value for money is average, the service and amenities could be better.

Stayed there for two nights. Booked a deluxe double with extra bed. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Service was good. If you are looking for an additional bed then would not recommend staying in deluxe double, you can opt for the next class. With additional bed, this room became cramped. Only concern was the food, quality was good, but taste was not up to the mark.

We stayed there last week. Hotel is good and located in market. Rooms were clean and nice. The only thing I did not like is food. We tried evening snacks as well as dinner but everything was not up to mark.
