I had a wonderful time at this resort with my family. We all went for long cycling trips along the golf course and the blue stream which is inhabited by many friendly ducks. The ever-obliging nature of the staff, the spacious rooms with all the modern amenities, nature at its rawest and best made us want to unpack our bags and settle in for a spell. The staff was courteous, always smiling, always enquiring after our wellbeing. They were forever ready for a friendly chat after meals, offering us titbits about the locality and surrounding area. We logged several hours on the lounge, by the reception area, just taking in the beautiful sights of the golf course. On our first day there, when we stepped out to cycle, my 6-year-old son’s face fell when he looked at only adult cycles lined up in the garage. Immediately, (without me asking), one of the staff members ran inside and came out dragging two kids’s cycle that was just right for my son. On the first night of our stay there, we were in for a surprise. After 6pm, the whole resort suddenly came alive with the most artistic of lights. Yellow lanterns stared demurely from behind dark green leaves and hanging lights of various shapes and textures were wrapped around sturdy trees, beautifully lighting up the various sections of the large trees around the resort. It was simply picture perfect. Being a member, I could access the restaurant reserved for members for lunches and dinners. There is a member discount here. Please do try hurali saru from the menu here. It is to die for. We opted for the free-breakfast room rates. So, all three days of our stay, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The spread was simply great: idli vada, dosa, omelette of your choice, toast, upma, sheera, baked potatoes, sausages, cornflakes. We had a lazy breakfast in the lounge overlooking the unbelievably green golf course. The pool is well maintained and the kids were in the pool for a good 3 hours every day of our stay, splashing and chasing each other and generally having a good time. For non-swimmers, there are ledges attached to the pool with soothing jets. There is a café there that serves cakes, donuts, pastries, and croissants and various milkshakes (chocolate, and Oreo etc.), and hot beverages like coffee and tea. The kids loved it there. There is a nice and clean inhouse spa and massage centre. My mother and my daughter went there for a leisurely and luxurious pedicure and manicure session. Ah! joie de vivre! It’s hard to find words to describe the location. Let me just say that everywhere you look, you will see acres of raw-mango coloured, velvety greenery, stretching across endlessly as if set in a loop mode. It made me feel like I have been enveloped in the warm arms of mother nature. Once you are here, you will never want to ever leave. Unless, of course, the government imposes another lockdown and you are forced out 😊.…
We stayed at Kimmane for two nights and it was awesome. A perfect family getaway at a very peaceful location. Property is so well maintained and the staff is very much professional. Excellent food. Enjoyed kayaking, cycling, lots of walking, bird watching and a bit of golf too,
Our experience at Kimmane Golf resort was an extremely memorable one. The ambience and décor of the resort is very elegant and beautiful. The view of the golf terrain from the resort is breath taking. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor activities (bird watching, kayaking, golf lessons and cycling) and indoor games (table tennis, foosball and pool). The staff and the whole team at Kimmane were warm and courteous and the service was exceptional. We had our breakfast and meals at the SAA restaurant. The quality of the food and service was very good. Overall, it is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Looking forward to visit the resort again.
We were three families with kids stayed for 1 night. The lobby was wow! Two of the rooms were overlooking the golf course and the view from the balcony was again super! They have activities like cycling, kayaking(on an artifical lake) and ofcourse golf. Things that could be improved are activities for smaller kids like a playarea, floats for the pool and number of items in the buffet breakfast. Overall a memmorable stay!
