This property is managed by Karnataka Forest Department. It has both log huts and tents. Priced at Rs 1500 per night for the log hut and Rs 1200 for the tent, the log huts are far better than the tent for the extra Rs 300. The log huts and tents are separated by an Information Centre and quite a distance...

I had booked 3 nights at the camp. It is a good place to stay but being operated by government don't expect services like a hotel. But I came back after 2 nights. Communication is extremely difficult because there's no mobile signal, you've to walk around half a kilometer or shout to find the required persons - which was quite...

Kulgi Nature Camp is about 12 km from Dandeli town. There are state-run buses which connect Dandeli with Kulgi but not frequent. Instead, if you do not have you own vehicle, walk down to Chennamma circle from where you'll get private vehicles and forest dept vehicles. The camp is located in a serene place. The cottages (log huts) are nice...

I had to attend a wedding at Belgaum and decided add a day's visit to Kulgi Nature Camp as part of the trip. Kulgi Nature Camp is located 15 kms from the Dandeli town. This property is maintained by KFD. This is my third visit to this place; one of my favourite birdwatching destinations I would say. Booking process at...

I have stayed here with my family and my friend along with their families for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience staying in the tent. We have enjoyed playing cricket, badminton etc. in front of the tent in open space. No pollution silent place no signal for mobile and hence no disturbance.

We were a group of automotive enthusiasts who booked the entire camp(cottage part) for 3 days.. it was a very good experience overall. No plastic, No smoking, No alcohol and they are very strict about these; very environment friendly, nice bunch of folks out there. The food was vegetarian, very tasty and sufficient, not a splurge spread buffet, but it...
