We visited two couples there. The hotel has wooden flooring with a great panoramic view and rooms are well decorated with sufficient amenities inside. Beds are covered with heated blankets, excellent staff and food quality. Located just behind an army facility at the starting of the beautiful valley with ample space of parking.

This was my second visit to this Beautiful Hotel in Sonmarg and the change is really commendable in the last almost 2 years. First visit was in June 2019 and now again on March 5th and 6th 2021. From one night stay to two nights in Sonamarg speaks itself for their meritorious service and heart warming friendly service. All the Staff are very cordial, always helpful and wonderful service, you name it and you get it. Mr. Showkat Rather is an loving gentleman and so is Mr. Mushtaq Bhai and the Service Staff of Sagar Singh and Arif and others was heart warming, I had problem with Wi Fi and the Reception counter immediately offered his sim till our stay for two days without any charge. The Food was excellent and service very very commendable. Worth going again and again....The location is excellent and close to the market and view snow laden all sides with snow till first floor of the hotel. The snow ledging experience was another feather in the beautiful weather.Thanks to Mr. Showkat who guided us and friendly nature. Kashmir is always filled with loving cheerful faces.

The ‘Glacier Heights’ in Sonmarg is an amazing property!! The rooms are extremely clean, well maintained and have all facilities to suit the climate and comfortable stay!!
Added to that it’s at a strategic location thus enabling you to cover all nearby attractions without the hassle of heading back to a hotel somewhere faraway.
The food, the hospitality and the care with which sweetest Ashok uncle and team took care of us — can never be forgotten😊!!
If you ever happen to visit Sonmarg, then staying at glacier heights is a must.

We had a booking for 26th Oct for One day and one nights .and it was so cold and little bit snowfall there. the room was without heater and hot water and electric blanket wasn't working properly in this cold making it so difficult for us to survive in this place. We requested the Hotel manager even in the head office to cancel our one day booking as we wanted to leave that place, but they dint even looked into the genuine reasons. They showed front hotel where all facilities are good and at the time of provide rooms, they will provide backside there is one old hotel this rooms are having all above issues. if you will get chance just check both front and backside hotel conditions then you will realize the hotel reality .

In Sonmarg, I think it’s the best hotel to stay in valley. Only 50 meters away from the market where u can shop traditional dresses or dry fruits. The dinner served by hotel is awesome. Further I requested them for local veg cuisine and they serve local Began dish and it’s very much tasty. Overall experience is very good.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Inspite of requesting for a room in the lower floor being sr.citizens, we were given 2nd floor without lift. The temp was 2° in the eve but no room heater provided. After much request the one given worked for 30minutes and stopped. The pillow cover had lipstick marks and stained sheets. Would not reccommend to anyone.

Breathtaking Location, Hospitatality and behavior of the people there was out of the world, The way they treat with guests was best, We feel like we are at our home, the homely atmosphere make us to feel so. the food was best of all we ate at different restaurants during the entire trip of Kashmir.. Excellent service excelllent people and excellent stay. Had great memories.one thing is certain you will get homely atmosphere in the hotel. I stayed in this hotel for a night but the experience is very nice. The night we stayed sonmarg received first snowfall and the owners showkat and mudasir are so friendly and helpful that they opened the main doors in the middle of night and waited till all customers enjoyed the snowfall they helped everyone in taking pics and explaining about best places to go around..the rooms are big and nice.view from hotel is very good. The heaters and electric beds kept us warm. Buffet breakfast and dinner options are very good and tasty.overall very very comfortable and happy stay

Eight of us had 4 rooms. Hotel is adjacent to Glacier. Room heater with gas connection with control was very good. Dinner was good, breakfast was average. Bathroom height is bit low. Bathroom is about 1 foot height from room floor. Good view of snow and glaciers from hotel. Hotel is at the hotel location.
