Chose this B&B since it had good reviews and it deserves them. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean, comfy. The breakfast was as good as it gets, with everything you could ever want available. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Cost £85 for two of us for the night. No grumbles.

We stayed 2 nights for a family event nearby and our only regret was it wasn't longer! We were very favourably impressed by the standard of accommodation - beautifully decorated and furnished traditional farmhouse, immaculately kept and every need catered for. Hilary and Peter were charming hosts - attentive and helpful. Breakfast, with its array of top-quality local produce, was...

Having first stayed here when going to see Take That at Sunderland's Stadium of Light in May 2011 I have now stayed on several occasions whilst staying over in the North East on business trips. Service and comfort are always excellent; rooms are immaculate with excellent decor and breakfasts (always using fresh local produce) substantial and a fitting start to...

The room (Queen Anne) was very well appointed with pleasant views to two sides. Breakfast was wonderful and each day I was able to choose a different combination from the menu of extremely tasty local food which was...

We have recently spent three days at the farmhouse and can do no more than endorse previous remarks. A remarkably friendly, welcoming farm with a very relaxing manner from Hilary and her husband. Splendid accommodation and food. Can recommend unreservadly and hope to visit again when in the region.

We stayed with Hilary and Peter after having completed the C2C cycle ride. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We also had safe storage for our bikes overnight. So close to Beamish open air museum where we spent our final day before coming home.

We spent a lovely weekend at the Bungalow which was spotless and very well equipped. Much bigger than we expected with a lovely garden. Kitchen had everything we needed for having meals in and the bed was very comfy. Great location for the angel of the north, metro centre and the coast. The weather was very warm too! We accidentally...
