Had a wonderful welcome and stay at this very comfortable Bed & Breakfast ideally placed for our visit to Beamish. Coming from a quiet peaceful rural area we were seeking a comparable place to stay with friendly people, a comfortable nights sleep and good food. This place was certainly all of those things and more. Would certainly recommend it to...

Spent a few days at Low Urpeth Farm B&B: the place is lovely, nicely decorated and clean. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was cosy: a nice bed, pillows maybe a little soft (on par with British standards). Very good breakfast, we had our first honeycomb there. Would we go back to Low Urpeth Farm B&B? Yes!

As soon as we walked through the door...into their lovely farmhouse, and was welcomed by Hilary, we knew we had made the right choice. Coffee and biscuits in the lounge before being shown to our room the "Queen Ann" Could not fault the room...wonderful views, one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept-in, a lovely bathroom with a...

Welcoming and cheerful. Over engineered bathroom but you have to run around to catch the shower water, but then I'm a fan of being pinned against the wall by a power shower so ignore my gripe. Took ages to work out where the switch was for the bathroom mirror light, but again, I'm a bit thick. Far to many cushions...

From the moment we walked through the door we couldn't have felt more welcomed or more at home. Comfortably furnished - from antique furniture to modern en suite and the most comfy bed. And the breakfasts!! What more could we have asked for. A very big thank you to our hosts, Peter and Hilary.

We stayed for 2 nights. The B&B is extremely well organised with comfortable rooms and all the facilities you would expect (kettle in room, TV, free wi-fi, etc.). Hilary is very friendly, makes an excellent breakfast with homemade bread and jams. It is in the countryside with fine views all around. We used it as a base to visit Beamish...

This is a fantastic place to stay. We were only there one night. We had a cup of tea in the lounge on arrival. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was out of this world - cereal, full cooked breakfast with homemade marmalade and great coffee. The owners go out of their way to make you welcome and it was...

I recently had the pleasure of spending 5 nights in Sandra's Room at Low Urpeth Farm. What a delight! Hilary and Peter were very friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. I cannot praise the breakfasts highly enough; they're selected from a menu each morning and include many local and homemade ingredients. The farm is located just a short drive...
