Great place to stay. Very friendly staff and nice food. Only, more information on the Nubra Valley, it's culture and tradition, and tourist spots should be known to the staff. Sand dunes was a disappointment, as it was just like Chowpatty. But, still must be on a visit iteneary
The overall stay was average. Food was good in taste and even the staff was very helpful. But they do not provide basic facilities like 24 hours hot water, heater and electricity. The timings for hot water are 6 to 8am and 6 to 7 pm. There is no electricity after 11 pm.
We stayed 2 nights and were floored by the service. The food was delicious and tents were very comfortable. They provide hot water both morning and evening. The property can be better maintained, especially the lawns. Also they hang clothes/ linen near the tents which spoils the overall ambience of the place. Overall I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Nubra valley.
We stayed here 2 nights in mid Sep and had a good time. This is a tent but unlike normal tents its a Yurt quite sturdy. A Yurt's material provides better insulation than a normal tent and so was effective in keeping the cold away. They also have a smaller property nearby called Hundar Sarai. Pros:- 1. Service is top class 2. We loved the food. Its all veg and cooked there in the kitchen but they make it really well 3. Yurt is reasonably insulated and spacious. Bathroom was wooden 4. They switch on the geyser on request so running hot water is available Cons:- 1. The property can be better maintained esp the lawns 2. Maybe it was off peak season In Sep but there was no evening activity. You can pay for and get a bonfire on request All in all we had a good experience due to the service levels. Tx, AJ…
Stayed here for 2 nights in August. Having stayed at the other property Hunder Sarai, I would say this was not at par with that however the camps were still beautiful and service was excellent. Food was good and staff were very friendly. Camps were maintained well. We also had a bon fire and dinner with the fire. It was an amazing experience. The days could be really hot and thankfully these camps they have provided with a table fan. Overall a great stay and great experience.
We were a group of 60 and as a part our 6days tour we stayed at nubra sarai for 1 night and we could not leave the place.Excellent camps great service and yummy food.Keshav and his team were very caring and attentive great hospitality,Made sure that we had a comfortable stay.Great place to escape from regular life.
We 5 Couples stayed here in 1st week of June. Though some tents are under renovation tents provided are very good. Hot water in the room only, no bucket water supply. Hot water timing r flexible. Best part of the stay was yummy food, best food we got during whole ladakh tour. Keshav and his team serve food with so much affection and there is plenty of variety of food available. Special thanks to cook for such delicious food. Keshav and his team are always ready to serve and help. Keep it up Keshav and team.
Amazing location with camp surrounded by snow capped mountains...stream inside the camp. The best food we had in our Ladakh trip.. All amenities inside with clean toilets and hot water... By far best accommodation in Nubra..
First of all Location of this place is awesome, just behind you is Hill. Service has been excellent, lots of variety in meals. Mobile network doesn't work, just BSNL sometimes. Rooms are neat, bathrooms in every tent are built with bricks, so its solid. We didn't found any issues with hot water. Just know that its a Tent, don't expect it to be a star Hotel.
The tents are furnished with all amenities and bathroom attached with running hot water. The food was excellent. Its quite good to have a walk around the surroundings of the camp and its an excellent spot for bird watching
