Stayed here for 1 night. Location is good, it's on the main road. Rooms with valley view are good. In fact great view from the balcony. Service is decent. Owner Mr. Dinesh is friendly, he did help me with sightseeing suggestions. Stairs to get in get out are pretty steep so those who can't climb, have health issues need to look for some alternative. Overall a decent property to stay that too at a reasonable price.
I booked through goIbibo and got a good deal. Stayed for 2 nights. The Hotel can improve on so many aspects, but you can’t expect everything at affordable price. This hotel certainly deserves 4 star, just for the three major aspects- it’s affordability, its location, and the beautiful valley view it provides from the attached rooms’ balconies. All in all, for youngsters and for solo travellers, it is a great hotel. That said, I feel people should know that its entrance lies almost two storey level down from the road level, and room floors lie further down. And a few suggestions where the Hotel can improve:- 1) Room was a bit congested, specially the wardrobe/almirah area. In a relatively smaller room, lots of things are trued to be stuffed. In front of the almirah, two chairs and a dining table were placed, which almost blocked the almirah. Better placement of these stuffs are required. 2) Room had wooden walls, so at night one could hear the low noise talking voices of people talking in adjacent room. What was most irritating for me, was when I smelled cigarettes at midnight! I absolutely hate cigarettes smoke and that was a big turn off for me. 3) The Almirah had neither hangers, nor any hooks for hanging cloths. While I could have requested for hangers and they would have provided, what I needed most was hooks for hanging. These are basic things I feel. 4) The bathroom was so large!! And it was good. But I just wish they had used a portion of bathroom for the room construction. The large bathroom just reminded the smallness of the living room!…
Nice Hotel & Food, little hard to reach room from entrance (main road) coz you have to getdown 3/4 floor. Food is taste, parking available infront of hotel, you can visit near narkand market, Hatu Temple, Narkanda Adventure Zone.
A group of 8 of us, we stayed there about 5 night in September 2019. It was a work trip, we were there for a shoot. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Dinesh who mans the front desk. I had spoken with them to get information on weather and road conditions before embarking on the trip. They provided us accurate information and useful tips about places of interest close by. The view from the rooms is amazing, be careful of the monkeys though!Rooms are economically priced as well. Also fyi, if you enjoy your meat, the dhaba next to the hotel run by a very friendly lady and her family makes the best pahadi style mutton curry i have had in years!
We stayed at this hotel recently. We were upgraded to deluxe room. The room was very good and balcony was facing the valley. The bathroom was good and hot water available from 5 am in the tap of bathroom. The staff was very polite and food was also good. So when in Narkanda, a stay at this property is recommended.
